Doesn’t the out of plumb ultimately affect the sizing of the door? If your way out of plumb isn’t there a chance the pre-sized door won’t fit? Thanks Scolaro
I’ve never seen a frame so out of plumb that it affects the size of the door, because the rough opening is always over an inch bigger than the prehung jamb. The pre-hung doors are sized accordingly to industry standard rough openings.
@@dahut3614 lol, they probably do. But for me, the 6’ I like the Stanley brand. All other levels 1’ , 2’ and 4’ levels, I like my Stabila brand. My torpedo level that I keep in my belt is a dewalt.

Never nail through the door stops you can't adjust the door stops. Any pre hung unit will always be tight on the hinge side.
@@todc8986 you are correct, the hinge side reveal is always tighter because the hinge plates are mortised into the door and jamb. Great point to add.
