Ok, so about a decade ago there was this short lived, Superfriends style superhero show on Adult Swim called Minoriteam, where the hero's get their powers from the stereotypes of their respective races. I swear this is that but with religion instead.
Great video! Wouldn't it be better if the show started when they all met? Like then there could have been a whole story where the characters are forced to work together and have to work through stereotypes and hate between the different religions. That could have given the characters more personality, the dynamic of the group would have been better and the viewers could have at least learned something about all those different religions.
i remember my friend sending me a clip of this bc i'm jewish and we spent an afternoon losing our minds at how offensive and awful this thing is. it's a shame, the idea would be a cute and fun way to encourage acceptance and unity, something we really need right now. instead it's more concerned with painting scientists as evil, somehow
i mean out of all of them... hindu would be the most odd one? the other three is considered abrahamic religion(one gang basically) but the hindu is not considered abrahamic religion and not believing in one God and also she is the only women in the group lol.. literally the hindu is the odd one out lol
@@MettaKing I think it'd make a very good kids show but a more older and cynical audience can still find it ironically funny. Overall I don't see a problem here.
Stop criticizing it too much lol, if some people enjoy it then it’s a good show. Sure it’s not some complex show with a story but it looks pretty fun to watch.
Okay but why the fuck wasn't the Jewish one called Jewjitsu
1:49 as a jew, this explains everything. We fucking hate ourselves.
This is the most yiddish comment ever, you guys are constantly on an existential crisis
I think it really says something that shows like this always feel the need to make science seem like the enemy.
I think the satire flew right over your head

Yeah, considering that many scientists ARE religious.

This trash looks like it was made by some Indian animation company.
