S.H.Figuarts missed an opportunity to make the skirt pieces wired soft goods. Now if only all the face plates came with a deluxe Luffy figure!

Not gonna lie … she might be one of my favorites in this line ! Her articulation is great, the figure looks exactly like the character and although the skirt can be annoying it’s still pretty good. Definitely recommend getting this warrior princess 🔥

@@gameworldintel9924 I explain it to him already in another comment 👍 it’s okay to call her “he” because of the roleplaying aspect and it’s ok to call her “she” because of her canon biology. What’s not ok is saying that she’s trans when Oda has stated millions of times that she’s female aka a Woman who is just roleplaying as a man. Hopefully Oda fixes this mess later on down the story so everyone can shut up about her being trans.

In the show and manga Yamato identifies as male, refers to himself that way and all the characters do as well. It's a very simple thing to grasp

Oda (Creator of one piece) confirmed that Yamato is a Woman who identifies as a Woman, the reason she pretends to be Oden/a man is because she was deprived of her childhood, ergo is it living now. What I mean by that is this: Don't you remember being a kid and pretending to be your role model, saying you were them? Spider-man, Superman, etc. Her role model is Oden, as he hated her dad like she does, and was also really the only way she got outside information.

This figure is so fyaa. Im gonna have to get the cloth goods fs but the figure itself isn’t really the worst at posing with the plastic skirt. It looks weird asl split up, but the legs arent as hindered as expected.

If I got this figuarts for $100 + $30 for the soft good, it is not worth it. Maybe if it was all under $80 I'd consider it.

The upgrade looks great. Two caveats the upgrade destroys the original figure almost permanently, and the tie in the back doesn’t have the knot. Great video has always.
Glue would definitely get this back to normal. Heck, I even put it together for the posing without using glue. Haha
@@NostalgiaUnboxed oh that’s what’s up, I have had the figure on my shelf for a while and I think I need that upgrade. Tamashi is going in the right direction with the soft goods Itachi Uchia, now we just need it for more figs, but you know it’s going to come with a price upgrade as well.

I gonna say that upgrade for this figure is essential, wish I didn't have to buy it from 3rd company but I'm very very glad they make these soft goods.

I always reply. I state in my own video that I watched a video on UA-cam to learn about Yamato. I only caught a few things, but Yamato is taking on the persona of Oden and goes so far as to take on mannerisms and use "he". But still a female beyond a sort of "roleplaying"

First, everything you just said is wrong. Second, the show is pretty clear as was I. Female that asked to be called he/him. The “why” wasn’t as clear in my video but 100% irrelevant.

2:56 Actually she isn’t trans, she’s roleplaying as Oden, a loved warrior who died and she wants to respect his legacy by playing his role. She even calls herself his name ! Oda stated that she was female and that she’s a woman, she’s just roleplaying and if it wasn’t because of Oden then she would be just Yamato. Hopefully Oda makes that more clear in the future … he even got death threats for saying that she was a lady … goes to show how these people truly are …
