One Christmas, my sister got a job at Niemann-Marcus, wrapping gifts. They taught her, and she taught me. I've done well, since, but I just found my new favorite technique. Thanks!
Just buy boxes and put your gifts inside them. They commonly sell sets of boxes for clothing and accessories during the holidays. They usually come folded flat and wrapped in cellophane. You only need to pop them up according to the instructions.
Well damn, I wish I'd seen this yesterday when I was struggling to wrap a gift in an interesting looking way. Ended up doing the normal boring wrap. This looks much easier to pull off than what I was trying to do.
So, so COOL!!!!!! This looks so impressive - like u spent forever wrapping it, yet it's still easy! Just hope I can remember it when Christmas rolls around again! Thank u for sharing!❤
Thank you for sharing this wrapping tip. I wish I had known it decades ago. My income now prevents me from giving much in the way of gifts tat are large enough to even wrap.
i learnt this technique back when i was working at a bookstore, and we had to wrap the books to prevent people from tearing it apart. I'm so glad i had this skill, even though i never wrapped anything after i quit the job 😂
Ahhh lovely!! I've always been into origami and folding paper so when christmas comes around I get pumped to wrap my gifts. People probably think I'm trying way too hard but its just a craft I enjoy! Thanks for this awesome idea, can't wait to try it out.
So cute and easy! Thank you, i cant wait to do this. The pockets are perfect for sticking cards or small gifts, i wish i wouldve seen this before i wrapped half of my presents😂❤
@@MandyRoy425 I got so frustrated one year, I just folded a huge piece of paper, or pleated numerous pleats glued/taped it all down from the back side. Then wrapped the gifts with the prefolded pleating as if it was just a regular piece of wrapping paper. It was a great technique each gift got another angle or portion of the pleating. The last gift I morphed that pleated remnant with a non pleated contrast paper and it ended up being my most favored. Thanks for taking the time to point out...the obvious. I missed it. Merry Christmas!.
I used to do these special gift wrapping techniques when my family was younger and all of my brothers and their wives were younger. Nobody seems to appreciate it.
I like practicing wrapping techniques for my secret santa at work. I love it when we do the reveal after the initial excitement, i always get asked about how I learned to wrap ❤😁
OHHHH! If this is you content your getting a sub immediately! I fuckn love wrapping gifts for my friends and they always say my basic gift wrapping is “too fancy” now I gotta show em what true Fanta gift wrapping is!
It's a pity I didn't have this video when I had people to buy presents for. Now I have no family or friends, wrapping presents isn't an option for me anymore. But great technique.
this appeared in my recommendation right after my party ended 😭 not this channel's fault but i shouldve done this. anyway, love the video! i will definitely do this on other Christmas events. thanks!
Oh how cool. I've never seen that before. Thank you for sharing 💕
It's a Japanese technique, or at least common in Japan. First saw it in Japanese content too
I liked that you only need 2 tiny pieces of tape!! Genius.
@@raerohan4241oh wow i never knew that, ty for sharing
@@raerohan4241 nice!

Amazing! And it actually looks EASIER than the “normal” way.
Definitely depends on the wrapping paper. I think it's easier with sturdier thicker paper.
This will look amazing even with old newspapers.
Makes me want to go and buy box shaped gifts just to do this!

So it uses less paper AND it looks better! I'm sold!
That's actually really cool! Thanks for sharing*

I found this look is great for book. Brings out the rectangular proportions in an appealing way.
Thank you for explaining each step. Yours is the most helpful video by far!
I just tried it on a box that has a soft, exposed front, but was otherwise a perfect box. It came out great!! Thank you for this!!

It's very unusual and creates interest on the outside too.😊
Absolutely LOVE this technique ! 🤩 Thanks for sharing ❤❤
Not me watching this over still confused on how that even worked lol Love the results. It’s absolutely beautiful.
The pattern looks so much like batik Kawung! Every batik pattern has a message for life, and for Kawung it's beauty in simplicity.
I didn't know what I was even watching 'til it was nearly finished, but that was oddly satisfying.
Beautiful
I've seen that but never HOW. Great tutorial. Thank you!!!

Looks amazing, I tried it with a square canvas that's a present for a friend and it looks great! Thanks for the tutorial :D
Oh THANK YOU. Have been attempting but failed on rectangles. As you instruct it must be Perfect square! GOT IT! Headache no more! : )
The box in the video is a rectangle, not a perfect square.
