Lucky there is a deep channel. you wouldn't ever paddle through impact zone at cloudbreak on big days. It's shallow as hell and the power of the wave and water moving across the reef is crazy.

I mean Koa's wave @SB was an obvious "once in a lifetime fairytale" wave that EVERY surfer on this planet DREAMS about so I totally agree with the top spot for 2018 but Kai's wave/clip should be co-top spot haha..
