    We are not looking for the meaning of life, we are looking for the experience life and what it means to be alive!

    I listen to a few Aramaic teachers who say Blissful is interpreted as blessing. Over 1200 discrepancies according to Dr Rocco Enrico who was a student of Dr Lamsa who published a. BIble which calibrates extremely high in kinesiology arm tests. When I discovered this I found a new level of bliss. Have a Blissful day everyone.

    It's a beautiful conundrum - One lives without meaning only to discover it by realizing Nothing's meaning. I like it.

    The miracle is right in front of our eyes and most of us can’t recognize it. “Most people think, great God will come from the sky, take away every pain and make everybody feel high. But if you know what life is worth, you will look for yours on earth. Now you see the light” - Bob Marley

    Wonderful... it's so hard to "tackle" this subject... but there's a sense that you experience what you're talking about.
    (I wonder if you know the Human Design System, as well as the Gene Keys... which closely relate to this)

    This is all good, but according to Buddhism, isn't in the case that the moment we figure this all out, we become "enlightened", and we cease to manifest, if not in this life, at least in the next? This would suggest that the life we experience in this realm is, if not a total curse, perhaps not the ultimate experience either. I sense a disconnect between all the Eastern philosophies regarding the desirability of life, which troubles me.

    I don't want to be famous but i want to ease suffering. But im also aware that nature has everything in hand and the Tao is... is flowing thru and with and around everything.
    So do i just sit on a bench by the ocean and be nothing. Until the next impulse arises?
    With gratitude 👣 walking my lane with gratitude and peace.

    The meaning of life is to give life meaning.. The meaning for a tree, is to be the best tree ever. 'Ask' rather than 'Ark'

    When people ask me what is the meaning of life I just give them the dictionary definition if you're alive it means that you're in an organic being that has chemical processes happening within them you change over time and change after death that is what it means to be alive

    Afrcans have always known that everything and everyone is part of nature. That's why there is respect for nature. When Europeans introduced christianity everything changed.

    Read 13th chapter of bhagvad gita...In a sense we do nothing the modes of nature are acting on us but then again most of the people are on bodily consciousness & we are soul, which does nothing except to make this body animate which again is made of 5 natural elements. There is sea of difference between material & spiritual.satchitanada is the nature of soul i.e truth,knowledge & bliss. I don't know about other species but this human life's true meaning is to get out of this endless cycle of birth & death! If one is not trying for it he is simply wasting his human life which most of us are!

    Mmm. I wrestle with this Jason. “You are no more special than a blade of grass” would you run into a burning building for a blade of grass? This mentality doesn’t seem to resonate for how life actually is..

    • @William_The_Lesser
      @William_The_Lesser 3 роки тому

      I agree with most of what you said in the video after listening, just not that humans are of equal value to grass

    • @JasonGregoryAuthor
      @JasonGregoryAuthor  3 роки тому +4

      You missed the point brother and are too analytical in your thinking about this. Also, it doesn't have to resonate with you, but it is the way it is. Of course you wouldn't enter a burning building for a blade of grass. I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion after this video. Though, just because you won't enter the building for a blade of grass doesn't mean a blade of grass is lesser than a human. Without grass the blade of grass, the world would be in a very bad state environmentally. But the world would be fine without us, that is for sure. We are no more special than anything else. Everything has its place. This is the Eastern view and actually the way nature is. I mean no disrespect, William, but your comment is somewhat illogical and with a hint of maybe a Christian view and that is why it is uncomfortable for yourself. Usually you have a pretty clear head in regards to Eastern philosophy. It is truly humbling when we realize we are no better than anything else here, because it all goes together as one. Lastly brother, I am not making content to have you agree with me, I create what the actual traditions teach. I don't need you to agree with me so maybe it is better not to overestimate yourself in that way. That is a strange phenomenon online. As I said, usually you are not emotional about the content and listen with open ears. That is how I learned, with no opinion.

      I see. I apologize for being trapped in a analytical mindset. Thank you for your continual work and I will continue to support you as I learn more. 🙏🏻

      Not entering a burning building for a blade of grass could be interpreted as reasonable, but it is only because you we have a conviction that we are more important. For example, if we hipotetically completely lost our ego, our conditioning, and truly realised that we are all one, the thought about entering a burning building for a blade of grass would be view totally differently.

    But our life does have a meaning, heaven and hell are real. Judgement is coming to us all, angels and demons are all around us yet many do not believe. This world is a prime example that the devil exists. It's only getting more evil, God will have his wraith
