A Doug Henning staple. As a kid when I asked about it at the magic shop (Eagle, in Mpls.) I was corrected. "It's Gene Anderson's trick", Larry said. And he sold me the book of course.
Very cool. I have his book 'Newspaper Magic'. This is the last effect in the manual. And although there's plenty of preparation the effect is truly amazing.
Doug Henning did this one with patter almost word for word.
I used to do Gene's version. I upgraded to Axel Hecklau's Newsflash 2.0. Easier to do, Flash restoration. Great improvement!!!
And we just watched a semi-finalist do the same trick on America's Got Talent.

ill tell you go to your local library or magic shop and buy a dvd or barrow a book then practise and then perform it.
