Very impressive build! One thing maybe worth considering: I think This Old Tony recommended mounting the gas spring the other way around so that the oil inside stays at the seal.

Hello Alex, a other way to line out a block on the lathe is a deadcenter between block and life center and put a indicater on the dead center. Nice t-shirt you have Wintergatan 😉 nice video look for the next one 👍👍👍
