The church is supposed to be concerned with the spiritual and in some cases the emotional and physical well-beingof the members. I think it's high time pastors stop corroborating with the bad practices of other pastors under the guise of he is a pastor or trying to bring some some superficial argument. The pastor didn't bring a compelling argument but was doing "quality control " and defence
I think It's normal for religious leaders to ask for assistance from members of their church. e.g volunteer work, donations, or other forms of support. However, it's advisable that these requests are made with the consideration for the member's capacity and willingness to help.
