If your carrying costs are represented as a percentage of total burden to your company, how can you accurately account for quantity discounts? Especially when considering multiple part numbers.. Every time you change the quantity discount, you will incur higher inventory stock dollar levels, which then unequally skews the burden costs, thus making EOQ impossible to calculate, due to there being no consistent benchmark. Also, how can we account for lead times, safety stock, minimum buys and shortage costs within the EOQ model? Thanks, Josh

This Is not correct, you Need to calcolate all the EOQ for every range and see if they are acceptable, then u calcolate TC
