Great job diving right into the review instead of blabbing to make a longer video. Subscribed.
Appreciate it! Doing my best to get you the info you need as succinctly as possible. 👍🏽
Loved the comparison format. I really enjoy running in both of these shoes. I’ve been in the Clifton since v1.
Jordan, I love the explanation of the Hoka One zone choices and what they do. I used the Bondi as my all-around shoe. I was attracted to the max cushion. However, the shoe began to chafe and bruise the outside of each of my feet. I was so sorry to have to stop using them. Maybe, some time in the future I will try another model of Hoka shoes. It is just that with my small budget, I cannot afford to take risks with shoes. I have to get 400-600 miles out of each pair I purchase. Love the shoe reviews. I want to hear more about the new one you just pulled out the box.
I just saw the Rincon 1 on sale but didn’t pull the trigger. I also want to have some hoka one one shoes in the future. Great to see you making videos Jordan. Keep them coming. Peace ✌🏼
There's pretty much a sale once a new version is available. Hope you're able to grab a pair once the price is right.
Thanks for the review! Confession: I wear a running shoe for golf - supportive and so comfortable. I am always drawn to the Hoka line - but in golf, you do not want to wear a shoe that encourages rocking backward during the golf swing. Should I stop being enamored with Hoka with their low drop? If so, any other brands/models that you can suggest for me? Thanks!
Appreciate you watching. I wouldn’t quite know where to start in terms of recommending a running shoe that you could use for golfing.
Dope...I like the Cliftons in the wide fit and for even more cushion worth mentioning the Hoka Bondi. Great for longer, slower runs for those that like the max cushion feel. The Mach 4 dropping March 1st I believe...looks good! Hokas starting to look much better lately.
By the time I have a full review ready I should have an official release date from Hoka for the Mach 4 👍🏽
My mans got them unreleased boys!!! Salute! On another note, I do love my Rincons but they are pretty narrow in the toe box for me so I have to limit the usage on them unfortunately. The shorter format was cool but I still like your lengthy videos though.
My man! I hear ya on making the adjustment for your running. It’s wild how one shoe can fit so many of us differently. And don’t worry the longer videos will still be there. Just looking to add some additional formats 🙌🏾
Nice video. Can't wait for the Mach 4 review. By the way, are you from Baltimore? I think I can hear it lol
I've been wearing a pair of Clifton 7's almost everyday for the past 6 or so months, did some here and there running but mostly walking, they still feel new. It was one the best decisions i've ever made, fell in love with the brand and i promised to myself to never wear Jordans, Adidas Superstars and all that bs that ultimately breaks legs and destroys your joints, damn, if i knew i could get this cloudwalking feeling for the same amount of money years ago...
I just ordered the Clifton 7 and it sounds like a pretty well cushioned shoe
great video. i love the rincon. it's always my go to shoe during my runs.
@@JordanThomasmedia i mainly use them for my 5k & 10k runs/jogging. for recovery days, i put on the bondi 7's.
Great video.. Rincons are the way to go. I have 3 pairs and love them
@@JordanThomasmedia I’m getting 300 miles before I switch out but I normally never go over 300 miles in any shoe
I've started to work out at the Y. I may try the Clifton 7 by this summer. Does Hoka have a line of apparel. I've been encourage to upgrade my look. Any shops in Baltimore
They do. Although it’s kind of limited, but we can find you something 🙌🏾
Where does the Gaviota fit in your lineup? The Gaviota 2 seems to fit width-wise - not falling off platform - (I heard the new 3 in the forefoot is narrower which would never work for me. I wear a Men's neutral shoe 2E/4E. The Bondi 7 was like walking on heels. I didn't feel stable. I need cushion for a troubled forefoot (pain from neuromas). I will mostly use them for walking as PT helps get my foot back into running mode (P.S. I'm a lousy runner). Suggestions (don't say Nike. They all run too narrow. Doc recs HOKA, NB, Asics (too narrow)....having a really hard time find a shoe. These companies don't like fat (round) front feet...I'm all ears...
The Gaviota isn't a shoe that works for my personal rotation/ line up.
Thanks for watching! What did you think of this shorter format? Let me know in the comments. ✌🏽
Thanks! Actually chose yr vid cos it's 5min only
