I really want to show you my appreciation for taking the time to do this. It is well known that phrasel verbs are one of the most if not the most difficult parts of learning english and the fact that you take the time to make it so interactive and enjoyable shows me that you actually care for the people you teach to. thank you.
i can't say thank u enough drew.only i can say ur awesome, i can see ur dedication in each video. i think some times you don't even have an idea how many people getting help from u. please keep doing.. you are awesome and we love you..
Take my words: this is one of your best video-lessons. Instructive, straight to the point, lots of information, pleasant listening and huge vocabulary. If it's well explored it's worth a month of English study.
This is the first video lesson I've come across (ha!) that teaches PVs the correct way: grouping by verb and doing it visually with real-world examples. Thank YOU. Much better than the ubiquitous cartoon/diagram method which I personally loathe and won't use for teaching.
I think the best and most effective way to learn phrasel verbs is visually. This course definitely dose that. I just purchased the program and I regret not buying this before. I'd probably be way more advanced in my fluency. O well, it's never too late to learn!
Thank you Teacher's EnglishAnyone this is a video that I'm going to watch once, twice, again, and again, again, until understand and memorize 100%. Great job, congratulations, thanks for help us.
Oh!!...millions and millions of thanks teacher Drew for this fantastic video lesson!!...my foible in English is really phrasal verbs!!...I've worked very hard to make out many of them, but so far I've still been struggling to master them. Anyway, I really figured out a lot of them through this video lesson...Thanks a lot teacher! Best regards. Nadim from Tunisia.
The way the meanings illustrated are very excellent. One can learn the meanings of phrasal verb very clearly. I really admire the efforts taken to compose this type of video and post it on the you tube. Kindly keep posting these types of video. It will help the english learners. S. Rangasamy Coimbatore
I've ran up my knowledge about phrasal verbs with this video :P Thanks a lot. This is probably the best video about this subject I've ever watched!! I hope to see more videos likes this one. Cheers
A subtly structured lesson, not to mention the illustration - which must have taken hours and hours of work! Note the parallel examples: an equivalent for each phrasal verb usage; the literal + figurative usage; finally, the short story.
It would almost be impossible for a non-native speaker to use all these phrasal verbs naturally and unconsciously. Thank you very much, we really need to know them if we wanna take our level to C2.
Hi Drew, Thanks for the lesson you've shared, very clear explanation . loved it! I've been wondering the reason you chose the phrasal verbs to introduce is basing on the popular uses of it or what? Thanks.
@Englishanyone Quick and important question there. I found it pretty useful. I always write essays that demand accademic writing. So, is it formal to use these phrasal verbs?
Excellent explanation Drew. But I have to say that phrasal verbs are very difficult to learn and understand in context because most of them are very similar meanings. It´s very hard to learn. Thank you very much for this free video lesson :)
i wanna thank you for all these lessons! and i have a question ! i ve'seen all your lessons and i understand 90 % of what you'r saying! the question is WHAT LEVEL DO I HAVE THEN? thanks the best teacher ! hello from Ukraine

I admire you capacity of to teach people ... thanks for help, and continue with your Channel , Cause It's so interesting. kisses !
always useful to approach these complex phrasal verbs - in new ways - However I find some of the examples are not offering a reliable pattern - You have used the contrasting prepositions/particles off - on and up/down which offer a nice pattern - but mixing phrasal verbs and prepositional verbs (meaning verbs with prepositions such as up=/= down on=/=off out=/= in as localisation that second language learners can pick up and make up (contrary to phrasal verbs). in any case - as I said - always useful - obviously - from reading the comments. so didn't mean to be overly critical :-)
This video is a piece of art. For me it is a tremendous way to make things clear for everyone. Thanks once more Drew!
