- I played this a lot in 2020 and dropped it after getting 84% out of frustration. I picked it up again today and decided to verify my own version with the new Cataclysm replacing the old version. I ended up beating it my first time passing Bloodbath LOL
To be honest, this is a really annoying thing to do. Bloodbath is the only level in the trilogy I enjoy, so having to start from Cataclysm and end with Aftermath sucks a lot. Knowing I had to beat Bloodbath and Aftermath after already beating Cataclysm constantly demotivated me to continue.
Beating this feels super good, though. 3 historic levels combined to fill the entirety of At the Speed of Light. On top of this, I believe I'm the first to do this with the new Cataclysm, which feels nice.
I ripped the Aftermath part from Sunix's version, so special thanks to him.

New version is even worse than the old one and both manage to be the second and third worst levels in the game behind Sonic Wave and its remakes ofc

@@powgie7 apart from the first wave and dual ship new cataclysm is very fun. old cataclysm first ship is really awkward and unfun unlike the updated one. also no, its not one of the worst levels in the game, its more fun than most of todays "flow gp" extremes where you dont need skill but just to master the click pattern
@@randomannoyance I agree big part of nowadays flow gp levels are unfun, but I don't agree with cata being fun at all; the first half isn't that inconsistent (aside from the first ball which is both insanely inconsistent and awkward and the 40-ish dumb ship), but it's still hard asf, and then the second half, while it's really easy, it's insanely inconsistent and chokable with nerves and it overall makes it terrible.
The new version is even worse since the first wave is significantly buffed making the level much more boring than it already is and the ship while it is changed for the better, it's not a big improvement at all since both ships are insanely consistent and the new one is really awkward too.

@@skytrizz I think that maybe if he wasn’t, the percentage would’ve reset. If you look at the cross between Cataclysm to Bloodbath, the percentage didn’t go back to 0 it stayed at like 27 or something like that. But then again idk.
