It makes me cry that I was a baby when this scene was about and missed the rave scene all together. You are a lucky guy to have been in this pure love energy.
@@michaelstokes5165 Can be found online, DJ food junkie but the above set date is wrong, this set is actually 4-2-94....There was another party on the date on this video as well.
Definitely the best *raving* days of my life! I'm 47 and still raving now with a few middle aged pals (some who are 50 and beyond!) because we love the music, but we all agree that the 90s was a special time. Never to be equalled, let alone bettered! Definitely the best times in the UK! Big ups mate.
Me and my mates used to watch this world dance VHS over and over again while smoking, it’s what got me into raving, a year later I was 15 raving every Friday and Saturday at Labrynth Dalston lane, went onto rave at all the big raves, one nation, roast, slammin vinyl, AWOL and all the rest, best days of my life!!!!🎉 not to mention the E’s were unbelievable
Takes me right back to being at Lydd off my chops! Great vibes, Great tunes, Great days! Peace and Love to all the world Dance / AWOL jungalist family! Keep safe and well! Peace 🙏
You are spot on mate that's why the psychopaths in control get their lap dogs to shut these things all down . They even to this day go after the smallest of raves . I was at a rave a few years back , we had the landowners permission out in middle of nowhere and barley any people there was less than like 60 people and the filth still show up we told them to piss off and they come back again at around 5/5:30 with a ton of backup . Utter scum mate . At least the night was basically over but still they have zero rights to interfere with what we do with ourselves if we are not causing loss , injury or harm to anyone it's fk all to do with them that is the real law but they just want to crush any legitimate organic stuff and funnel everyone to the mega corporate events where you're charged 8quid for a bottle of shitty beer .
Wish I still had my World Dance bomber jacket. Loved this event as well as Dreamscape and Helter Skelter. Memories!! '93 was the best year for raving at Lydd Airport but they continued to great raves down there long after!! Big up all my old school crew!!
My gosh food junkie bringing Frankie goes to Hollywood and me gq with it goose bumps. Mad respect all England massive from Toronto thank you for creating the best beats in the world big up ya chess!!!
For me hardcore music really hit its best around the 93 and 94 era sadly it seemed to die off mid 95. Some great times at skegness pleasure dome, destruction at Howden. Uprising every Thursday when it was at pacha Rotherham was a good venue. Blasting Carl Cox on a 94 dance planet tape on the way to a rave use to get us all hyped up.
Agreed. For me it was 92-94. I still raved to Hardcore in 95, but began to listen to jungle/DnB more. From 96 I moved over to the jungle/DnB scene completely.
Pretty crazy really, such a short period of time, only in the UK and a tight age group. Sadly, I was only 13/14 in 1993, collecting flyers and buying the tapes (got this one in video too). Peace people, keep the memories alive!!
Bang on pal - hardcore was 92-94 then it was jungle all the way!! As much as I loved the jungle scene the original hardcore era 91,92,93 was on a different level when it came to the actual vibe inside most raves whether it be in London or the big ones just outside!
