Suggestion? Instead of using 12 sheets of red felt (for red rose felt topiary), get a yard (or the amount needed to equal the felt sheets) of felt at Walmart, Joann's, Hobby Lobby, etc. Also, you could sharpen the dowel with a pencil sharpener so it goes into the styrofoam ball easier.
