This must have been the reason why he mysteriously pulled out of the movie Black Dog and recasted Patrick Swayze? They never gave a reason why. No I understand. And yeah... that numbness in those fingers was a sign of blood clot. I had it myself and later turned into something serious. We all have to be aware when are body is trying to tell us something and don't ignore it!!
