My disabled brother-in-law bought one. I've been bicycling for 57 years. This bike is well built and has some cool accessories. This is also the biggest waste of money for an e-bike. They won't sell you tires or inner tubes and the ones that come on the bike are cheap. Most bikes sold don't come with "the best" tires and tubes. Rad Power Bikes have tubes and tires in stock but are keeping them for new bike sales. It's now an almost $2,000 paper weight. The 22x3 tires are only used by Rad. No one else makes them or the tubes. They sell an equally bad "armored liner" meant as an adapter so you can use 22x1.75 tubes in the 22x3 tires. Why is there not a class action suit against them?
Hi, your rear seats are ingenious! Thanks for sharing. Do you know if the Rad Power "Caboose" accessory would fit around them? Looks like it from some of the angles, but hard to see. Thanks
could one of those rear seats with the back support be attached along with the caboose? or will the caboose mounting points be covered up? thanks! so close to purchasing either this radwagon or the kbo ranger.
you could mount one with the back in the front part, would have to test out one in the rear to be sure. Be sure to check out the other new offerings on the market. The Lectric XPedtion is another on to consider. lectricebikes.sjv.io/DVDQX2 (affiliate link)
Hey guys - great video. I am replicating the 2 seat configuration. Found the seats online, but having difficulty with the knob setup (min 6:30 in the video) & do not see a link for that item anywhere. Can you share where those were purchased? Thanks!
Awesome videos, thank you for all the great info. I am wondering if you have any feedback on your rear seat setup. It looks great, but I am wondering if the kids like it and if they are able to hang on ok without falling off. Thanks.
Hi Eric, my nephews are enjoying it. The one on the rear hangs on to the vertical rails of the seat in front of him. My brother did repurpose a piece of RadWagon packaging for a front handle. I think it may have been for the fork to rest on in shipping. You'll definitely want a front handle of some sort in my opinion for the front rider.
Everyone in here sound like kids at the candy store. This review lacks lots of critical information for average use. After a few days when the honeymoon is over what would you do?
I really appreciated your video. Regarding the child seats from Walmart for the RadWagon 4, did you need to modify them in any way to install? I am definitely going to use your links for my purchases wherever possible! keep up the good work. Thank you again!
Yes, be sure to check towards the end of the video where he explains. The linked RadWagon 4 accessories page in the description has a list of all the parts. Thanks for watching!
How about maintenance and storage? Assembly and tune ups? Bike storage and travel rack? Customer support and availability of parts and accessories? Do you work for radpower? You sound like it. This is too good to be true.
I do not work for Rad Power Bikes. I've been a bit supporter of them since 2018. 4300 miles and counting on our own RadWagon. I also run a forum at RadOwners.com - I've done videos on bike storage, travel (check out the rest of my videos or my website EbikeEscape.com for more) There are plenty of other owners on the forum that can tell you about the customer experience.
It's a bit tricky with such a heavy bike. I always lift up on the middle of the frame slightly which makes it easier to put down the kickstand. You can also put down the kickstand as far as it will go and put your foot behind it. Then rock the bike backwards. We also have rubber chair covers on our kickstand which gives it some more grip. Hope this helps!
Hey how durable do you think those seats are? I ordered rad's caboose with deckpads but was thinking those seats would be more comfortable than the deckpads for long rides.
I don't understand why you would want to have a passenger on a ebike,,, maybe a option, but to make and sell it already installed is scary. I have my motorcycle license and always never invited passengers.
The seats are ingenious.
Thanks Tom, my brother likes them :)
Thanks Ryan & Bro!
You bet!
The family resemblance is strong! Even the vocal fry is there...lol.
I didn't find the link for the seats in the description!

I'm 90% sure it will be fine since the Thule seats are wider.

Check out the link to the RadWagon 4 accessories list and look near the Walmart link.

That’s Rad, I’ll come up with a front handle. Thanks for replying. Cheers
Great video! I like the black model, it's like the stretch limousine of the e bike world! Good tips, keep up the good work!
The black does look sharp! I do like the increased visibility of the orange/white though.

Where do the kids feet go? I’m looking for a foot rest
Rad sells pegs or the running boards.

I need a flat rack to tie a 30 inch bins to it with bungy cable. The bike will be purchased to pick up hardware parts.
Maybe you can use the included rack with the cables?
Any tricks on how to use the kickstand? I’m having trouble with it.

I would get another one.

They are still pretty hard I'd say. Not sure if Rad improved their new seat pads but the first gen one wasn't great.
Wow I didn't even know there was other sub side companies making accessories
Most seats have to be modified but yes it's nice some of these are available.
Any discount codes for rad bike

How can bought this bike, I from Singapore
Unfortunately I'm not sure if that would be possible.
Hi
Hi there!
I don't understand why you would want to have a passenger on a ebike,,, maybe a option, but to make and sell it already installed is scary. I have my motorcycle license and always never invited passengers.
Some people use Ebikes in cities to transport their kids and such around.
