    VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
    I often receive queries regarding which connection of solar panels is the most efficient. Is it parallel, series connection, or a combination of series and parallel? The second question is, is it possible to use solar panels with different power ratings or specifications in one array or connection? What would be the outcome?
    So in this video, I discussed just that and made some example calculations of different solar panel connections, including mismatched solar panels with different specifications.

      sir JF pag 10kwp po ba ung Solar Panel setup, kailangan 10kw din ung capacity inverter na bibilihin kahit mas mababa sa 10kw ung peak consumption? Di ko kasi sigurado kung sa solar panel capacity or sa demand ba magbabase ng inverter selection

    ang solution sa magkaiba na size ng PV ay gumamit ng blocking diod ito ay pwede lang kung ang PV mo ay magkalapit ng voltahe (VMP) 50w to 200w d masyado mag babawas sa Imp tataas ang harvest so pwede natin pagsamahin ang 160w at 100w pv sa iisang SCC ng d masyado mababawasan ang A sa V sya mag babawas ng around 0.7v per panel so kung nasa 18v magiging 17.3v x ung pinagsamang Imp (A) pag 300+ na ung PV D na pwede kasi malayo na masyado ung voltahe mas ok na mag add nalang new SCC at dun ilagay ung mataas

    Maraming salamat sir sa video nyo now we know how to compute different solar panel wattage, hindi kasi maiiwasan kung mag upgrade ka tapos hirap humanap ng ganong solar panel na kagaya ng dati at kung wala ka na mabili ng ganoon.Sir meron lang ako napuna tungkol sa 200 watts specs niya na Imp 5.36A ang nailalagay nyo po 6.56A pero konti lang po ang difference nila.

      Good day. Wala pong anuman. Tungkol sa 200W solar panel specs na napuna ninyo. Hindi lahat ng 100W, 200W, 300W, 400, 500W ay magkakapareho ang specs. Iba ibang manufacturer, iba iba din po yan.

      Good day. Kung sa DC side/supply ng dalawang toroidal inverters, pwede. Depende na lang sa C-rate ng battery kung kakayanin ang hugot ng dalawang inverters.
      Pero kung sa AC side/output, hindi pupwede. Puputok kapag ginawa nyong parallel ang dalawang inverters.

    Panel 1, which is capable of producing 200 W at its maximum power point (MPP), is only producing approximately 165 W because it is forced to operate at the lower current. This results in a loss of potential power generation.
    The reason for the power discrepancy is due to the series connection limiting the current to the lowest panel's current rating (Panel 2 at 5.41 A). This forces Panel 1 to operate below its MPP, reducing its power output from 200 W to approximately 165 W.
    The excess power from Panel 1 is not "produced" because the panel is operating at a lower current than its optimal current. This is a common issue in series-connected PV arrays where mismatched panels (in terms of current rating) lead to suboptimal performance. The power output is inherently limited by the panel with the lowest current capacity, leading to the observed total power of 265 W instead of the combined rated power of 300 W.

    against ako sa pmax computation, kung different Ampere ang panel oks lang yun as long as parallel at yung lowest volts ng panel ay pasok sa charging requirements ng battery. e.g lowest voltage ng panel is 18v pero 12v lang naman ang battery, papatong parin yan unless 24v na ang battery na gagamitin. sa series connection hindi talaga recommended pag different Ampere since dun sa mababang Ampere na panel mag kaka bottleneck dahil hindi dadaloy ang mataas na Ampere sa lowest Amp na panel, solution iparallel ang dalawa or tatlong lowest Ampere na panel para mag match sa biggest panel na nais i parallel. make sure na in good running condition ang panel kung mag parallel, pag hindi cgurado pwede gumamit ng high Ampere diode sa positive or negative side ng each panel para forward lang ang direction ng supply at hindi babalik ang supply sa may issue na panel. expect a 0.5Voltage drop pag may diode but you are safe to go mag parallel kahit iba ibang specs wag lang mas mababa sa charging requirements ng battery.

    Tanong ko po sir JF kung tama ako. Mayroon akong pv 2x 100w Vmp 17.6 at imp 5.71na naka parralel connection at sineries ko sa isang 200w na may Vmp 19.69 at imp 10.21. Ang reading sa scc elejoy 600w. PV volt:48V at CHG current is 16a. Kapag imultiply ay maging 768 out of 400w.

    Ang sabi kasi sa store sa angeles di daw pueding i mix sa old model kase mababa ang VOC tas tumaas ang ISC and IMP.
    Puedi ba itong i connect and mix kasi i did the math pero pareho lang ang output nya kung dadagdag pa kami ng 2 solar panel, 1500w ang first 3 previous commection kung dagdag pa kami ng 2 na solar para 2500w output power sa inverter. Correct me if i made it wrong ang computation.
    (3) vmp 33.3v = 166.5 voltage series
    (2) vmp 42.8v = 83.6voltage series
    11.69A X 195 V = 2,279.55 wattage output
    Or puedi bang gawan nalang ng separate string papunta ng inverter sa PV 2 input? Magakakaroon ba ng problem regarding sa set up.
    Ano po ba ang pueding gawin na solution or connection sa aming set up.salamat po in advance, please help and advise. God bless po!

    Sir JF is it posible po ba na if meron akong inverter na operating dc voltage 45-90v. is it posible po ba na gagana sya sa 50v voc series with 30 voc na panel? in short , magkaibang VOC ang each panel in series?

    Sir, may 4 panels po ako na 200 watt each.. same specs lahat. Plan ko mag 2s2p connection pro 24v system po set up ko, pwede ba po ung 2s2p sa 24v system set up? Help namn po, baguhan lang po sir eh..

    Ang STARTING PV VOC VOLTS PI AY 150V ..MAY 4 NA 650W CANADIAN 45voc PANEL 2S2P CONNECTION. ENOUGH NA PI BA ITO TO RUN YONG INVERTER NA MAY STARTING BA 150V VOC?

      Good day. Kung ang starting PV voltage ng inverter ay 150V, ang 2S ng inyong ay 90V lang. Hindi po sapat. Kailangan maabot ang 150V. 😊

    good morning sir JF pasensya na po sa abala, sa busy ninyong time, Sir clarification lang sa PV calculation, series parallel connection of 8 pcs na 400w with Voc 41.2 at Isc 12.28A at ang Inverter ay may max na Voc na 150v at Mppt SCC na max 80A, kung ang connection ng 2 series at 2 parallel 123.6v at Isc naman ay 24.56A sa anim na PV paano ung natirang dalawa na 800w, isasama ko rin ba siya sa naunang 2S/2P para maging 3S/3P, wala bang overload or exceeding sa Voc ng Inverter na 150v, salamat sa mga reply ninyo po at god bless.

    Sir JF, young buong lights ng bahay ko is 103w lahat lahat all led lights, anung minimum set up kaya pwedi na mapagana siya ng 48 hours... Ilang amps kaya kailangan battery at wattage ng solar panel...

    sir JF magandang ARAW po, may mppt po ako 60a max nya is 1680w at 120voc sa 24v system, at may 4 solar panel ako 500w 42.8V(vmp) and 11.69(imp)
    balak ko sana epag series kaso di pwd kasi limited lang kaya ni mppt ano po bang pwdng e.setup?, iyong pinagbilhan ko ng mppt nag suggest sakin 2s2p daw na connection, pwd po ba iyon ? kasi bka mag ka over sa Watts kasi mag kakaroon ng 85.6V(vmp) at 23.38(imp). ano po ba magandang safety suggestion nyo sir JF?
