"Grandpa, I Made it to Africa!"

The only man I've ever looked up, the Greatest man I knew, has transitioned to the great ancestral plane. My Grandpa Willie taught me many things, he taught me I can do anything. To fear no man, because I am the greatest, I can do anything. One of his dreams was to visit Africa one day, I was blessed to visit South Africa last year October 2022. I climbed the highest mountains and sat by the edge thinking I wish my family & friends could see this too. So I made a series of videos shouting to the heavens the names of my loved ones, hoping they could hear me from this side of the ocean. I saw my grandpa last in 2022, I wasn't able to see him this year. I made this video hoping to show him when I came back home, to show him the Africa he dreamed to see, to show him the man I became on 1 of the tallest mountains of Africa. I wanted to show him and see his smile, to hear him tell me he knew I could do it. I wanted my Grandpa to see me become the greatest this world's ever seen, because he was the greatest I've ever seen. I wanted to show him that I listened an learned from him, that I could really rise in this world an do the impossible like he always told me I could. I guess I just wanted to make him proud because he was on of the few people in this world who believed in my dreams & goals when not even my own father did. I didn't get to show him I made it to the top of the world, the top of the Africa he dreamed of..for that, I will always regret working to much, not coming home sooner to show him that his grandson traveled thru this harsh world, & still made it home with many stories to tell. I give thanks to you Grandpa, I really miss you, I should have called more & stayed on the phone longer. I'm sorry I couldn't become the man you believed I could while you where here, I'm sorry I couldn't take you to the Motherland. Wherever souls go next, I hope they have an Africa there. You are my hero. I still want to be just like you when I grow up. Thank you for showing me how to be the Greatest.
