Hi - I am Mark Robinson - Australia - mentioned in the video. The photo that was used was taken in a bay just north of Sydney, the bikes seen are my Vivente world tourer and my wifes bike packing Specialized. I am deeply honoured and humbled to be included. I had a couple of private conversations with Iohan when he was video editing in Santiago. Iohan asked for my advice on a new filter he was thinking of using. It was an "out of the blue" unplanned chat, right place right time, as we were both online at the same time. I was actually riding The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail - BVRT - that day (on a 10 day bikepacking trip) and sent him a clip of the Australian bush. I told him to come over to Oz as soon as he completed the South American section. I am 60 this year and have my route planned from Prudhoe Bay south. Iohan continues to inspire to this day. Thank you for the new videos and for keeping his memory alive. He was special and touched us in so many ways.
Thank you to all the contributors who shared their stunning images and made this tribute possible. Thank you Dennyiah for allowing us to include the beautiful, heartfelt song written especially for Iohan. Thank you Melanie and Dan who co-ordinated all the messages and Instagram posts. Thank you Iohan for your continuing inspiration to See the World.
To me the most impressing things weren't his awesome pictures but how ingenuous Iohan went out into the world. Awaiting nothing but welcoming everything.
I'm so happy and proud of seeing my contribution to Iohan's Memorial. Congratulations to everyone who took their share in this tribute to our bike wanderer. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷!
I've watched this several times now. People have chosen such beautiful, meaningful photos to send in for this video. My favourite is Daniel Alarcon's "See the World" frame, but they're all lovely. Thank you, Mark, for organizing this and doing all that editing and other work. You produced something deeply moving. Thank you to everyone who sent in photos and videos to make this possible! I'm sure that somewhere on the other side of space and time Iohan is free, is light, is air, is continuing on his journey to see the universe in all its wonder.
"We have been touched by his soul, seen the good in his heart and felt the warmth in his being" . Ride In Peace Iohan 🖤 Thank you for this beautiful video !
This was wonderful. Thank you to everyone who contributed and worked to put this together. Rest In Peace, Iohan. You had a huge positive impact on my life at a time I needed it, and on the world at large.
Just a little hint, in case you missed a few episodes: UA-cam blocked or deleted some videos for copyright issues with the music. Iohan reuploaded them and he might have changed or deleted the music in these new uploads. He didn't put them back on his playlist but they're still available. A while ago I collected the URLs from different sources and made a new playlist. Occasionally UA-cam blocks videos for reasons I don't know. At present (Aug 2022) these are Episodes 22 and 36. ua-cam.com/play/PL9AcA5vvYahlI4xo3Z81jVyuY6xaiC8iG.html
Are these new videos from his last days of biking? Johan had short clips on Chilctin and a few other travels but the whole videos never came because of his health issues. Are you going to do other videos as well? Thank you for these videos.
The part one and two videos are his final ride through British Columbia Canada, posted as he left them on his drive. All his (unfinished) editing. Still very good I think!

Thank you. Each video is a work of art, so it's great to know we haven't lost them.
Hi Alias, is the link broken or so? It just loads a black site for me
@@enjoyurlifetv Oh, I just noticed, I must have set the list to private accidentally, it should work now.
@@water_alias sweet, thanks for your work! Easier now to watch the remaining 3/4 or so in the right order
Thank you so much.
