thank you.😊 Two embroidery threads are twisted together to make one strand, so there are actually two strands of thread. However, twisting makes the threads a little thinner. Sorry if I didn't understand the meaning of your question.

Hello! I decide the colors I want to use in the image. Then I add more colors or change them when I choose the technique. Sometimes I change them after I embroider.

刺繍が美しいのはもちろん、絵がお上手なのもとても羨ましいです。
私は悪い意味の方の画伯なのでオリジナルの図案を作るのもイラストを写すのも壊滅的なのです😅
それに作業の一つ一つがとても丁寧で、今まで自分がいかに雑な刺繍をしてきたのか思い知らされました。
日本刺繍とフランス刺繍は名前が違うけど同じ縫い方もあるので静彩さまをお手本に丁寧な刺繍を心がけようと思います。

懐かしい
母が昔人形の着物の刺繍の内職でしてました
その当時と刺繍台は変わらないのですね
絹糸の刺繍糸ですよね
糸を撚ったりしてたのを思い出します
当時はちくわのような竹筒に糸を巻いてありました
思い出の中に日本刺繍がおありとは素敵ですね！
人形の着物に刺繍となるとかなり細かそうで気になります😆
今でも古い糸で竹の糸管に巻かれているものがあります。使い勝手は紙の糸管が良いですが、竹の糸管を初めて見たときにかっこいい〜✨と思いました。

祖母は和裁から洋裁編物戸塚刺繍と手芸なら何でもOKな人で、むろん日本刺繍もWelcomeでした。 私もちょこっと教えてもらったのですが、どうしても糸撚る事が出来なくて···断念。
今でも撚る事ができなくて、こよりも撚れません。
素敵なお祖母様ですね😊日本刺繍は撚り糸も使いますが、糸撚りせずに刺繍しても素敵に仕上がります。機会があればぜひまた挑戦してみてください🍀

Suga Stitch is similar to Satin Stitch but with a difference.
