I was in Coorg last week & followed this itinerary. I saw other videos also on UA-cam to make my plan but this video gave me d best guidance. The 3 days tour turned out to be pleasant & not hectic or tiresome. Those who wish to explore Coorg on their own (like me) should consider this itinerary

Your itinerary is the best as per me. However, if we were to include Iruppu falls where would it fit? I wanted to cover a waterfall wherein I could be in the waterfall rather than watching it from far away and I guess Iruppu is one such fall. I am planning to come in mid August

I believe if u want to cover iruppu as well, you should cover it on the first day itself if u r visiting from bengaluru or mysore. Distance of iruppu from bengaluru is same as madikeri. So if u can start early in the morning u should reach there by 11 or 12 max and then after covering iruppu u can get back to madikeri within 5 pm easily and cover the rest of the places according to itinerary. Wish u a safe and thrilling trip ahead brother.
I am planning either Coorg or Chikmagalur in mid July for 2N 3D plan from Bangalore.
> Which will be more safer to travel in this full monsoon period?

The safest option is by car if u have good driving experience in ghat or curvy roads.
Both coorg and chikmagalur are at identical distance but after reaching chikmagalur the tourist points like Mullayanagiri and Baba Budangiri are located at sharp height and roads are pretty narrow also there is lots of fog in comparision to coorg. I have made trips of both coog in june last and chikmagalur in august so if u want do checkout those playlists on our channel.
As for the good hotels and resorts in chikmagalur, do check out the video given below on best hotels and resorts in chikmagalur, but this video is little old so prices definitely will have increased as this is the peak season as well.

Efforts tsken to provide all details which a avisitor would lie to be made aware are included. Nice video. Do we get self drive vehicles at Medikeri. Also is it safe and fine to avail one , any issues from locals as ola and uber do not run there. Secondly can three riders ( 2 adults one kid ) ride a Scooter or is it compulsary 2 per scooter 😊. As far as I know you can't get self drivable 4 wheeler in Madikeri but 2 wheelers you can easily get. And yes kid can travel with you in scooty, as traffic police is not very strict there, but I personally would never endorse that due to safety issues.

U can just visit abbey falls as its very close to the city and also in the way to mandalpatti. But In march u wont get much waterflow for sure.

Yes June is a good time, we ourselves visited in June last week, we witnesses someafternoon showers but that made the weather more captivating.
Coming to waterfalls its strictly prohibited to get close to the actual falls in most places, it wd be better if u ask homestay or property owner in coorg abt this.

Its great if u a seasoned traveller and little showers here and there dont bother u mch. The views r just thrilling in monsoons , 100 times more enticing then the peak season.

I'm planning a trip to Coorg, but I'm a bit confused about the order I should visit the places so I don't have to run around too much, since they're pretty far from each other.
Can you help me out with this?
Here's my itinerary for 3 days:
Day 1
Arrival at Bangalore railway station/airport
Meet and greet at bangalore airport then transfer to Coorg on arrival check in hotel later proceed
to visit Coffee plantation and raja's seat stay over night in Coorg .
Day 2
Coorg sightseeing
After covering back Early morning proceed to visit Mandalpatti Trek ( at your own cost ) . After
covering back to hotel have breakfast and after that proceed to visit , Mallalli Falls , Harangi Dam
, Talakaveri Temple/Water Falls , Cauvery River After covering all the places head to resort for
overnight Stay .
Day 3
Coorg sightseeing
After breakfast transfer to coorg on arrival proceed to visit Abbey Falls, Omkareshwar Temple,
Nisarghadhama forest , Dubare Elephant Camp , Tibetian Monastery/Golden temple stay over
night in Coorg .

Intricate planning but dont u think it be too hectic, u wont be able to relax and enjoy the view. If u r with frnds or bachelor grp then sure u may try this but if u r with family I wdnot suggest u travel so mch and cover so many places in a single day as the distance between some place is too mch.

3 days in coorg is enough, rest 2 days is enough for travelling to coorg and back if u take flights to Mysore or Bangalore
