your wifi has to be 2.4 ghz
Im having the same issue - if your wifi is more advanced does that mean there is no way to get this to work?
it will work without the wifi
ok, after 2 days I just got it connected, here's what I did. I used my ipad, not phone. follow the steps up to the tricky part. do not hold the wi-fi symbol, instead in settings, chose wi-fi and a list of available networks will drop down. don't select your house wifi but look for the dirt devil wifi. it's unsecured and it has the word setup3420 in it. chose that while standing near the robot. it will then connect. hope this helps
@@sierra4610 my wifi is advanced and it has both 5G and 2.4ghz. it selects the correct one depending on the device. so don't worry about that. the issue is you are not selecting the robot wifi in settings. read what I just discovered above. it should work. good luck
I bought this after watching your video and overall, it does work well. I had to add 2.4 wifi and the only problem I have with it is the sensors need wiping a lot. The diagram doesn't show where the sensor is and I can't find it online. Any suggestions? thank you for making these videos. I was totally overwhelmed trying to decide which smart robot vac to buy, and your video helped me tremendously. Overall, I'm very happy with this product!

I just bought one of these tonight I can't get it to connect to the Wi-Fi I went through every step that you went through and it will not pair. Plus I noticed that likes to stay close to the base even though it's fully charged if I put it in the living room to clean the living room floor is automatically go straight back to the base.
Any suggestion on how to add a permanent cleaning zone. I tried, and it worked for the first time, but it doesn't seem to save it to be able to use it in the future even after saving it.
The app looks like a rebranded Smart Life app, I bought this unit for our basement and a lubluelu for the main floor that also uses the Smart Life app. I wonder if I can control both from the same app or will I need to use both apps?

Try map settings, new map
