I went to cable park once about 2 years ago, was able to do a lap on the kneeboard, but with wakeboard I did about 30 tries and the longest I went was 5 meters.
I felt like I was trying to do everything like in this video, but arms just weren’t strong enough. Even years of snowboarding didn’t help 🤷‍♀️
Will go again this summer and hopefully would be able to do it.

I generally reccomend people watch the rope from the carrier. There is a shock wave that runs down the rope to your hands which lets you know excatly when the pull will hit. Works for all starts, but especially useful for jump starts

I never sat in the back. Always thought to sit as much in the front as possible. I will try it out next time. Thx

I really struggle with the speed of it. So i should start off with my hands and cable by hip, let my arms absorb the intial pull of cable and then allow them to fully extend?

Sitting start is so much easier than sliding... tried 3 times sliding, failed, first time sitting, success... since then I strongly recommend trying the sitting start :D
