I must say, Erik, I found this to be your best production yet! The beautiful scenic views of the flowers and countryside coupled with an opportunity to actually see you once or twice made this very special. I liked the longer length, not to mention the excellent coins, Roman artifacts, and other finds. The bit of Dutch history behind the medallion was very interesting. Great seeing you do the Gold Dance ("WooHoo") once again! While we don't get to see you very often, this makes the wait all worthwhile. Gefeliciteerd met het goede werk.
Just discovered your channel. So glad I did! What incredible finds. I am also from Eastern Washington state USA. I love seeing international detectorists!
Erik, thank you for taking us along on another adventure. You definitely are one of the most underrated metal detectorist on UA-cam. You should easily be over 100 thousand subscribers by now. Keep up the great videos.
Really enjoy your hunts! Here in the states especially in eastern WA state, to find something 100 yrs old is rare. Your finds are such a treat thank you!!
Lovely finds my friend. Loved the medieval silver and early hammered nice to see and some lovely finds. New to your channel enjoyed the video happy hunting my friend 😊
Erik you always manage to make good finds, I'm quite envious buddy :) Great to see you on the video and what a great gold dance! Happy hunting and all the best from the UK.
My favorite detecting channel. Your finds absolutely amaze me. I’m in the USA and 1700s finds are far and few between. I have found 1 Spanish cob from the 1600s. Those do not have a date on them. Thanks for posting!!
I found the cob on the east coast in the state of Virginia. In an area they call The Bermuda One hundred. I was hunting a civil war site by a river and found signs of a colonial settlement as well. I’m sure that’s how the cob got there. To be honest it has such little detail on it I didn’t know what I had until sometime later when I showed it to a friend. Was very dark in color. The funny thing is the longer it’s out of the ground the more detail I can see. Not a fast process. I dug it about 25 years ago. That entire site. Ow has a housing development on it now. So sad. Hey thanks for your hard work!!
😲 Thats a lot of fantastic finds brother! Congrats on the Gold ring!! Excellent hunt. The one piece looks like a silver grapevine brooch/pin. Stay safe and all the best!
Hi, I came across you by accident < but im glad I did >, I follow Terra Germainia and now I have subscribed to you also. you are haveing good luck with your finds and I wish you sucess in your future digs. Mac
wow, some awesome finds! I bet the Netherlands is just the best for detecting...all them flat fields and good weather more often than not...until it's not 😂 Bet you can keep going for hours!
I really enjoyed your finds, they where amazing. May I suggest you use something much lighter in color then that stone to prop your finds on. They don't show very well, especially that watch winder, nearly disappeared against that stone. Thank you.
Sir, could you recommend a reference book on medieval coins of the low countries? Unfortunately, I do not speak Dutch, but I do have a working knowledge of French. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you
Ik zoek zelf ook al bijna 2 jaar maar nooit ouder als 1600 gevonden zal ik een keer met u mee mogen voor tips vooral met onderzoek waar ik moet gaan zoeken ben zelf 21 jaar uit Brabant
A crochet needle like has been around for centuries, u have to look at the eye and whats it made of, modern needles r made of steel or w steel and iron core. This one was made of bronze
Waar ergens vind jij zulke vondsten, ikzelf woon in noord brabant en ik zoek al een aantal jaar maar een zilveren munt heb ik pas 2x gevonden. Zoek jij in het noorden van het land?
Feliz vida , like y mi gracias por compartir cultura.
Thank you.
Looks like a flower and leaves in silver, maybe worn on necklace? Great finds again!
Thank you Jenny.
Another fun video. Loved the Roman sewing needle and the 13th century coin...and the gold dance always gives me a giggle. Thanks for sharing!
Make that 13th century coins (plural). I'd feel lucky to find even one in my life!
Thank you Lynette!
