Sorry didn't feel I explained myself well. Anyhow It was nice to watch this chat and not get triggered by some of my usual benzo triggers. Nice to see your energy together. You guys are very sweet and I think this video has a lot of good info for people.
This is fucking great. We will all get better with time. Keep on keeping on. Talking about it always helps too. I can thank Bart for running into you on the internets.
Great talk guys! Can relate to much of what you discussed. It's nice to get some reassurance (of which I seem to need a ton at this point) that things will improve. What gets me is that I was on Ativan for only 5-7 days, tapered over 3 months and now at over 40 months out, am still experiencing protracted symptoms, albeit less severe. I think I would gladly live with the physical symptoms if I could just rid myself of the anxiety and have access to my emotions again. Again, thanks for sharing the chat. Much appreciated!
@@ashleychristie5023 Still about the same. Maybe 10% better than last post. Tho I've learned recently that Hashimoto's disease exhibits a lot of the same symptoms as benzos. Still trying to figure this out.
Very good video. I have lots of same issues. What i hate the most is beating myself why i am not stronger and i think its my fear of living, i dont know. Been on multiple medication for decade and dont know if ill ever heal.
The first 20 years on lorazepam i needed only 4 weeks summer vacation to taper down to zero. Without any difficulties! ?? After 33 years and a stupid psychiatrist I almost died.My legs and feet are shaking and cramping now for 20 month's 19 hours a day. + all the usual symptoms
Fuck man I took klonopin for 3 weeks. I’m 3 months out and still suffering. I’m 23 years old and I think my life is over. I’ve lost everything. I went to the pych ward and they prolly drugged me with 25mg of seroquel too.
It might take a while but it’s worth it! Don’t end up like me at age 23 thinking my psychiatric issues were just me when in reality it was the RX drugs that were making me crazy. Dr’s will never tell you it’s the drugs that are making you crazy & instead will often times recommend you double down & take more harmful RX drugs.

Great chat. Four years, seven months after being on a benzo only for 5.5 months. Mostly recovered. Not quite there yet.

Me too brother. My eating has digressed and I lost all keto and carnivore gains now.
I was doing snake diet fasting with carnivore refeeds and I got down to a decent weight and I thought I could be done with this bull shit.
Yeah you have to be functional that’s why it’s taking me over a year to get off clonazepam. I have to work and support the family.
FYI I still think SSRI withdrawal was worse. I retreated back super fast to it and benzos was just helping me sleep.
