My friend took his ATV out on a frozen lake. I was hanging on to the back of it, wearing skates. We were doing around 50mph. Everything was fine as long as the skates were heading straight ahead. But when I let go of the ATV and started skating to turn, the ice caught the front of my left skate, and probably turned my leg 180degrees. Fucked up my knee pretty bad. It took 2 surgeries and probably 4 years to recover from it. So a solid"yes" for me on the original ATV-question. Fun while it lasted, though...
