as a jazz singer I would assume that you realize that many a jazz interpretation and delivery is not delivered on a metronome perfect timing to the background music. I think her interpretation and delivery of this song was amazingly insightful and wonderfully delivered.
@@SiwahCorner wow...really. as a jazz musician myself I find jazz to be the most loosely confined of all musical styles, with the slight variations of tempo, dynamics, mood, etc....to be both impactful and actually a sign of great musicianship. Not arguing that my opinion is correct, everyone has their own correct opinion. Love your reactions anyways ! :>)

Seems that you are criticizing based on the way you think it should have been sung. How often do we see a singer sing a song using their own style or tempo? Angelina is a singer that makes the songs that she sings hers by the way she sings them. In a number of cases IMHO I prefer her version over the original, or previous versions. A question... Do you really see negativity... or do you choose to?
Jefs, no you have to follow the correct music tempo. A singer cannot change the song tempo from the way It was written by the song-writer.
@@lilimiguelez4072 Are you saying that you have never heard of a singer putting their own tempo, timing, or style into a song that they sing?? Many singers do that and often times in doing so make the performance better than the original. I respect your opinion but I disagree and I submit that the numerous singers that sing songs THEIR way probably disagree also.

I'm a blues musician with 40 years behind and I think you are full of crap. I can show you 300 covers right now that have different tempos than the original. get off it lady. that girl just made that song her own.
I’ve sang contemporary blues, traditional blues, progressive jazz, country, rock, gospel, and spiritual. There is more improvisation in jazz than any of the other genres. improvisation in tempo , improvisation in harmony and melody. If you take liberties with the tempo then leave the others recognizable. She did that. She stayed in the box on the melody. She was behind the beat starting a phrase but ending on the beat at the end of the phrase. (This is also a technique used by Willie Nelson a country artist who cut his teeth in jazz) it may sound alien to you but All modern jazz sounds alien to me because I don’t recognize the resolution at the turnaround but I don’t say that’s not right because it sounds off. I just say that modern jazz is too sophisticated for my ears. When you break down what she does, see if she is consistent on her phrasing. Also listen to her track. Is it off and does she have to compensate. I’ve heard some of her songs at the beginning of her learning. They were off but when she released them they were spot on (but different than the version she was covering) now I want you to do a comparison reaction to Daneliya Teleshova’s Love On The Brain studio version and live version and tell me why this 11 year old changed it up.

she was out of the tempo??? Angelina is in every song exactly 100% right on time. In all her songs i can't hear she's singing a thousands of a second at wrong time... it is just perfect... she is sounding better and better everyday. And I'm afraid about it... :)

AngeLina is Young but She Arranged This Song & She Changed the Tempo. Which Made it Better than the OriginaL which Made Her Version Better & More Sad. 👍🍷🍾

She did have to catch up to the track a couple of times. Amazing cover and still better than the original
Angelina's phrasing just can't be done by someone that age. It's impossible. But there it is anyway, making a fool of anyone who would say otherwise.
Yes out off tempo, younger Angelina has a soulful drag, mostly on purpose but sometimes too much, like in Show Must Go On - Queen.
Also, younger Angelina do very soulful blue notes that are a few cents flat for extra richness but sometimes the sustained notes miss below the target.

She wasn't out of tempo that was the tempo she wanTed when she rewrite and rearanged the song. That is problem with people who sing they can only think how they remember the song with no smarts to make the song their own and she does. That is how brilliant she is .
Yeah, now I know that, that it is a way she loves to do. She loves to own covers, rewriting sometimes: but this kind of tempo is her special mark.

Sounds to me like An old Jazz singer with who has not made it and can't take it that a 12 year old is much better than her

I would also like to say to the other people please don’t attack Siwah for her comments. If you disaggree with her then tell her why, but don’t attack her music. Siwah is not a a bad talent. Old school Jazz puts a lot on tempo. I’m just trying to get across that sometimes behind the beat is technique and not a mistake. This particular song was sang in a crooner contemporary blues style and not a strait laced jazz style. Siwah in her own right is a good jazz talent. Please don’t disrespect her

It's true guys, as much as I'm an AJ fan as you guys, she really was out of tempo at the end, nobody's perfect, don't be butthurt about it, but her performance is still great in my opinion.

It was surprising, because she generally did a great job. I'm sure most people do not even hear it. ;-)
For me, she wants to sing it shorter/faster, so that it could look like she is out of tempo.
When I hear her many other live songs, she is exactly right on time. Only a couple of times she wants to start about 3 seconds ! to fast/to early with going on in the song, but in last moment she noticed it and go away from the micro. 3 seconds later she startet with going on in perfect time.
For me it is wonderful. it is perfect.

I understand its your opinion, but Angelina is never out there to copy the original. That is what makes her perfect for this. She turns them a little, here and there, to make a different sound out of it. How on earth can you not see that?

I see what you mean, but do you think the focus of this song should be on one or two words coming out of her mouth later than you expected? I really don`t understand that. One thing I noticed about that particular song was she was using a canned beat. In my opinion the beat was a little “off”which was peculiar. She’s just a little girl doing music using a cheap keyboard
Siwah, I think you reactors should get together and create a "SAFE" channel that people could go to in order to recover from the trauma of being exposed to an honest opinion that threatens them in some way. I see several people in the comments who desperately need such a place to park their tender butts until their trembling stops.
