Duck Hunting- The Famous "Hart Hole"
Вставка

- Having one group of mallards break beneath the treetops can be the pinnacle of a hunt. Having it happen multiple times in one hunt can be the pinnacle of the season.
For the last duck hunt of the 2017-2018 season, the DayBreak crew finishes the year at Burnt Cypress Slough for arguable the best hunt of the season.

I have been on some of these insane hunts. You gotta cherish them and relish in your good fortune. I'm 68 years old and can remember every one of these kind of hunts. Great video and respect for what you got into.
Appreciate it Tim!
And another one! By far my favorite group to watch hunt. Hope y’alls 18/19 season has been just as good!
We appreciate the support!
I had the pleasure of hunting with Eric on his farm in Missouri. Freaking awesome!!
Small world!
Beautiful area. Great hunt. Is in New Mexico are envious!! Great video guys!!🦆🦆👍🏼👍🏼
thank you! We are lucky that is for sure
Man, you guys are blessed to have a spot like that...
agreed! never take it for granted
You can do that when you have money and have access to property like that. Common folk don't have property like that to hunt. We're out there hunting with the peasants on public land and driving hours to get to where we're hunting. Not walking out the back door of some fancy lodge.
Can’t fuck with money! Lol
Nice job editing! I already can’t wait until next year!
thank you!
Curious to know what calls y’all like to use, they sound great. The ducks seem to like them as well
Outstanding Video-probably the best I’ve ever seen from hunters.
Appreciate that!
Yes definitely
This is the real DEAL Duck hunting at it best . what a heck of a hunt. Man wish i had that hunt . its like your 1st Deer. God Bless. P.S. you guy had the best time's
great stuff! love watching these videos
Appreciate it!
So interesting to see. We really lay off the calls, only when we really need it. Works up here close to Canada. Seems like when they get down there they need to be really worked. Same ducks. But the reaction to calling is so different as they migrate south.
Incredible, great video and the shots/editing are great
Thank you for the support!
Stellar! Ya'll are killing the videos.
Thanks Andrew!
Awesome boys....great vids as always!
Thank you. Appreciate that!
Are y’all using Devin Singletons calls or something different? I really like the sound of some of the calls y’all use
what a great shoot!
Great video guys!!
Appreciate it! More on the way!
Solid hunt and videos across the board. What is the full strap of birds doing in the blind at 1:46?
Those were ducks we had killed that morning. This was an afternoon hunt
That's some deluxe blind there. They even have a chute to send the dogs down like furry little torpedoes.
great video!!! congratulations, amazing land and organization!
Piccio "Cimbellatore", italian ducks and woodpigeons hunter
ps: goooood dog!
thank you!
Just seen your videos, they are amazing thanks for the content. What shotguns are you guys shooting for the most part? Looking a buying a new semi and curious.
we mostly use benelli super black eagle 3's
It's hard to put down a 390
Awesome video! What are yall hanging your ducks on at 4:18? I haven't seen anyone hang em like that. I hate using the neck stretcher cause it messes them up.
It is a banded goose tote. Go get you one!
@@DayBreakOutdoors I will, thanks
Sweet video!
Thanks!
Smoked em! Sweet video, very well done in all respects!

What’s that song that started to play at 3:00?
Read bottom of description has the music listed
Do you guys actively try to avoid shooting hen mallards?
nope, we shoot the piss out of them
At least you are honest lol. You might try avoiding them though. It does help with duck numbers. And just a casual observation. It seems like you guys are more concerned with padding numbers over just enjoying hunts. Ground swats and killing hen mallards. Hopefully it's not a trend that continues in duck hunting. Save em for the kids that are going to be the next duck hunters.
@@stubbs935 thank you for the advice!
We shoot any and everything until it gets close to a limit. You can only kill 2 hens per person
@@stubbs935 only killed 2 hen mallards in my life. Always seem to get those drakes. Nothing against water swatting either as it puts food on the table
Water swatters? Still a great video
Ya, and we shoot hens.
@@DayBreakOutdoors PREACH
I'll water swat now that it's legal. The idea is getting the meat into the gumbo pot...not mounting a duck on the office wall to impress clients..
Wander how much corn is out there
none
LAST YEAR WAS YOUR BEST SEASON EVER , HOW HAS 2018-19 FOR Y'ALL
Much much slower lol
Wind’s wrong
Ya it was very wrong but it paid off!
Doesn't matter when most everything else is frozen. Most open water is the X
Yeah all the ducks are held up at white oak. Duh.
