The supply is coming fast to the housing market this January. A lot of people decided to run for the exits before the spring flood on the market. Highly recommend saving money and waiting it out. Rents are going down. In Acadia, where I live, the rent is $1400 for a 2-bedroom basement and $1600 for a 2-bedroom condo. Plus, a lot of places offer incentives (like 1 months free) if you sign a one year lease.
Unfortunately hype around Calgary is done already, rent is down already, and you can see more inventory, I am pretty sure Trumps tariffs can bury real estate market because whatever they say about economic diversity Alberta is still oil money, what if that escalated? IfCanada will be under embargo?
Also he is intended to keep the crude price low for America and increase local production. How's this gonna impact Alberta's economy and real estate market?
Igor this is one of my favorite channel for sure!

Isn't Acadia a fairytale place?
It is so boring to watch. It sounded that there is something that needs to watch out but really there is nothing in them to share!
The only thing collapsing around here is me, Igor. Every time I see you. I love you.

Depends on interest rates

You guys look cold.!!
What's your opinion about impact of Trump's expected tariffs increase to Canada's (especially Alberta) real estate market?
Tariffs will kill the housing market: higher unemployment, higher inflation, very likely interest rate increases, Canadian dollar going down.
@@hawklutz Either interest rate going to increases or CAD goes down.
