First time seeing Megan and thought she was one of Laura's siblings at first with the way she was zooming around on that scooter. Love how "sassy" she is, lol. You're a lucky man. Can see how Laura turned out to be the person she is with parents like you two.
Cale!!!! This was great!!! Videos like this will dramatically boost your subs. Get Megan in all of your vids! She's great! Your personalization and family presentation adds a lot of depth and character to your videos. Show the rest of your kids, not just Laura. Fun on the farm is also great stuff to include, not just the technical farming info. Life on the farm...heartland USA at its very best!
Brings back memories. My grandpa driving my pickup hauling irrigation pipe. He had never driving a vehicle with an automatic. He keep stepping on a clutch (hitting the brakes) slamming to a stop. It was fun, he was in his 90's.
Its about time you had your beautiful wife in your vlogs and I see where Laura get her looks from . And seriously I enjoy seeing good family that works hard together. and Soon you'll have a son inlaw . Be well Laura farms family
Cale, the Ranger won't sag as much if you turn up the pre-load on all four shocks. I had to jack mine up and spray the collars with WD-40 to get the grit out. With the spanner wrench from the tool kit, crank them to full spring compression. The Ranger will handle the load better, and gives it a little more ground clearance. Good old Hastings 8" pipe. I swear we have a miles worth.
Cale; about your Seed Corn farming; 1. how does a corn kernel get 'sexed' (determined) and who actually does this ? 2. I get the 4/1 and border crop planting, and its function but could you give more detail about what pollinates what, and what determines the timing of the 'destroying' of the male plants (poor guys)! Also, tassling; its function and timing. My buddies and I just plant commercial corn in duck lakes (for duck season), and harvest what they (and the blackbirds, geese, coots and deer) don't eat when the season is over and ground freezes. Learning a lot, and can t wait for the next chapter. Thanks !
Not to be captain obvious Kale, but your wife pulled that weed like a boss,,,, and you had to use a T-post puller 😎 I absolutely love y’alls channel! And I’m with her, 60 series tractors were the best! I miss our old 4960.
i keep reading irrigation as irritation for some reason and i never makes sense until i have read it 2 or 3 times. and im not dyslexic also who owns that big army truck, it sounds amazing and also looks cool
Another fun video. I'm sure having control over how much water a field gets is super helpful -- either by using pipes or pivots. What sort of irrigation solutions are available for those farming land with rolling hills? Those pipes seem to connect fairly easily. In the video it's possible to see the gasket inside each one (where you zoom in on the stacked ones) but even with the gasket, it seems like such a large pipe, with so much water, and presumably pressure, would have leakage problems.
Some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten was in a little town in Kansas. I was there to work at the neighboring cement plant and the plant foreman took us to lunch. Dad and Mom cooking and the kids were the waiters/busboys. Love your channel.
Being in Nebraska, mid continent, why is irrigation so important? I would have thought you would have adequate rainfall. The pumping must add to your production costs.
Cale: the next time you're in your favorite automotive parts store pick up some injector cleaner ( Lucas makes a good one) for your 6x6. The truck's Cummins engine will thank you
There must be a better way of doing this irrigation. How about a flexible pipe that un-wounds from a big drum that has holes in it for the water? Then at the end of the season, just wound up the pipe - a one person job.
Could you not like put a circle of wood in the post ... 'ram'(?) so you don't need to put in earplugs? Sure, it will slightly dampen the action. But perhaps not too bad?
The wood would end up disintegrating very quickly as the metal posts are thin metal at the end. Also, the metal to metal impact really helps drive the post fast. Wood would tend to deaden the blow quite a bit. (I tried it years ago and found out the hard way.)
Gees, alot of work be better off if you could put fingers on a irrigation pump, from a well or a clean pond send it to a head then run a irrigation sprinkler . Itll cover quit a bit of acers in 1 swipe. They pull them selves across the field on their own with a stop at the end.
So, this is Laura’s real personality, not the 15-30 minute one she edits together for LAURA FARMS. I knew she could not b supernatural, she is human. Laura, this does not, does not change my determination that u r the, the best human being I have ever been exposed to. Laying water/drainage pipe is probably not something a lot of people look fwd to. Since I have never seen ur mom on ur channel, I wondered what she looked like. I had a feeling she would b as attractive as she is.
So we have LEAAD Farms and Laura Farms. Next is Mowing with Megan or Lawn care with Megan? :D
Megan Mows
@@dovermoreno megan needs a GPS guided mower
Laura said that her mom is pretty. What an understatement!!

Geez, I thought Megan was a sister of Laura! What a family!
Hank Hill would be proud of Megan's dedication to her lawn.
its easy to see why you are always so happy ..great family !!
Love Moma Boss, she can hold her own! Interesting and delightful to watch and hear.

Cale: "Megan, What is the average air speed velocity of a laden swallow?"
Megan: "What do you mean, an African or European Swallow?”
Depending on the sice of the coconut, the the knight needs 😜

Wow! My wife mows for therapy too. She also is very particular about the way our lawn is mowed.
Always enjoyed this video.
Great video. Family work and fun is a blessing to experience. 👍🇺🇸😎🌽🚜🥇...

Love your family. You all seem amazing. Kinda of jealous I always wished I was on a farm.
Watching from all the way down under. Keep up the good work.
Great video, thanks.
Ok, I can't be the only one who thought Cale was talking to two of his daughters for close to half the video. Great team work!
What a GREAT VIDEO, Thanks so much 😀👍🏾🚜🇺🇸🌽
My wife and I enjoyed learning a little more about your wife and family.
8:15 LOL @ using the star picket puller to pull weeds! I've just about broken pickets in half trying to get them out of the hard ground we have here.
Great videos!
Everyday can be “Turbo Tuesday” when you have a 5 Ton 👍
That 5 ton is a great truck! I drove one in the Army.
Laura gets her looks from her mom for sure. Also she is buying a house? She should post some of the house hunting on her channel.

That trucks a BEAST.
Dude you sure are blessed, you must be right with God, but keep your eyes on the road. 📖🙏🇺🇲🤞
Happy Boy, family is always a good team work.
Good job driving the Ranger Megan
Ya'll are no strangers to work!
I like the truck! Is it a Mack? I think it is the same type as they used in the movie "die hart" part 3. The truck has a good punch!
Happy wife happy life. please tell your self that every day

I talked with Laura's grandmother in the youtube comment's section in one of Laura's video. She said she is extremely proud of Mrs.Megan and Laura.

very low pressure water
@@WarpFactor999 -- Okay. Thanks for answering that question. So, it flows not based on excess pressure but gravity.
Leard farms .beautiful family
👍👍👍👍. Family time....
I would love to visit your farm and hang out for a day helping so whatever your doing that day especially riding around in the 5 ton

happen to recall which town and what the name of the joint was? I had a similar experience just recently
@@keemez This was 2005, so my memory is faded. It was SW out of Kansas City. IIRC, it's Humboldt.
k... not the same one I was thinking of then. our hit the spot stop was Tequila's in Goodland (KS)
Lost it when he used the post puller to obliterate those weeds.

those units are so complicated :D I don't know how you guys can remember all of that. metric system for the win.
Now that the kids are back in school will the wife be farming again? Would be nice to see her operate a tractor during corn harvest.
Laura and Grant were going on a road trip but haven't seen a post from since. Are they ok?
Cale: Is this the same as drip irrigation?
I don't see the point of the truck part.
Why are you all irrigating so late in the season? (I am not a farmer but I love your channel ... retired teacher ... education never stops)
There must be a better way of doing this irrigation. How about a flexible pipe that un-wounds from a big drum that has holes in it for the water? Then at the end of the season, just wound up the pipe - a one person job.
Nice👌
Why are they watering the corn?
Didn't they do a rain dance!?
Mom is very pretty.
I thought that was your youngest daughter riding the scooter in the shop.
why is only Megan wearing a seatbelt?
How many Ears of corn do you get per acre,
1 acre is 43,560 square feet...
Sneaking kisses with the wife is good for the soul. Push it to the limit. PITTL
He's having to much fun maybe he should go clean out some water spouts
There is a place called Netafim... Never haul pipes again!!!
wishi washi / flim flam is great!!
I see the SeaBee flag on the backwall!
I thought she was one of his kids!

How many acres are you guys farming?
I think I remember Laura saying in one of her videos that it was around 2000 acres.

Just listened to Bob Weber ! One of the BEST ever !! Do you agree ?f.k. UA-cam! S. E g e r
I guess you have other people run your Pig (Hog) ? And cattle operation , for we never see that side of it ?
Hi
😂😂😂😂😂
Cale, You have a wonderful and beautiful wife.
Megan, Can you please keep the kid's safe and make sure they wear their seat-belt's especially the one in the back.
Mind your business
😅LOLLOL
Gravity Irrigation????? But there is no such thing as gravity ......The Earth sucks everything in!
If cale spots weads he is turning into an animal 🥳

So, this is Laura’s real personality, not the 15-30 minute one she edits together for LAURA FARMS. I knew she could not b supernatural, she is human.
