I think it’s kinda messed up to ban someone on twitch because of their conduct outside of it, unless their content of course revolves around it. The murky nature of cookielol’s situation is that he used his position that streaming got him if I’m remembering correctly? But still. I think it’d be absurd for some guy that came out of prison for murdering someone was automatically banned on twitch even if it was a very public figure, and if anything the hate they would get would overflow any surmountable audience anyway, so those two things in combination wouldn’t necessarily be “platformimg” their behavior.
