TWN Evening Seminars: Augmented Reality Workshop Part 1

Filmmaker / artist /activist Betty Yu introduces us to DIY Augmented Reality using the BLIPPAR software, which has a free version. Betty has used AR for several of her socially engaged media projects that address issues of displacement and gentrification, particularly in relation to Chinatown and the Sunset Park area of NYC. In this seminar, after showing examples of how people, including herself have used AR, she does a step by step introduction to creating a project as the attendees attempt to make their own projects at the same time.
