Soo if Jokic wins 3 titles, 3 finals MVPs and 4 regular season MVPs, thr only center that can possibly be ahead of him would be Kareem because he obviously has the greatest longevity than all other big men. Now if Jokic wins 4 championships, 4 Finals MVPs and 4 MVPs... Discustion about who is the greatest center of all time is over and after that he should talk about Jokic wether or not he is the greatest player of all time because let's be real. It's not the same if you win 4 titles with Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Love, Ray, Rondo, AD and Howard and changing 3 teams in your career and it's much better when you win 4 titles with 1 team and simply you was the reason why all these teammates around you improved amd became better supporting cast for you. So if Lebron with his 3 NBA titles and 4 MVPs was 2nd all time... Than Jokic with 4 titles amd 4 MVPs should be in GOAT discustion with Jordan.

Hakeem would have 2 more defensive player of the year awards, but Jokic would have 2 more MVP awards and again, MVPs are more worthy than DPOY awards😂. And if they face either NYK or BOS, both 1st and 2nd in the east.

@@imaginationplayground well, it's more the 1 championship < 2 championships right now that puts Hakeem slightly over for me (Jordan era, so 1 MVP is whatever). I think if Jokic wins one more, he'll have passed up Hakeem. I was just projecting a possible career end where I think 3 rings and 4 mvps doesn't sound too crazy of a projection for Jokic. At which point, the top 5 will be solidified, at least until Wemby starts really making an impact.

embiid is a very overrated player. His only skill is shooting free throws or wide open shots. He’s constantly injured and offers no continuity to the sixers other than wishful thinking. People hang onto the meaningless seasonMVP award like it was an earned accomplishment 😂. The only significant MVP award is the Finals, and if you helped your team win it all.

When shaq had the 3peat, who were the top centers he faced that were in their prime? He didn't face another center or bigman that scored as good as AD. Gobert is a larger and heavier version of a Mutombo. Fun fact, if Rudy wins another DPOY this year, in an era of extreme floor spacing, he is already way ahead of mutombo. Embiid is a heavier more skilled version of ewing, sabonis is a more athletic vlade divac, sengun is developing to be as a top center, wembanyama might be the greatest defender and stretch big in the making, chet holmgren is in a similar category. A lot of very skilled and future hall of famer centers in Jokic's era. What about the early 2000's? Remember, Shaq didn't win shit during the 90's where some centers were dominating. Oh and btw, Bam Adebayo is an alonzo mourning with better mid range and passing ability. Idk what you mean with no competition when it seems that Shaq's only competition in his winning years is Yao Ming and he didn't dominate that match up😊
