I think they did a very good job with this song! Fun fact though, in Nu'est's 'Sleep Talking' when they say 'confession' in korean over and over (1:02), it's actually the same exact intervals between notes and rhythm as this song when they sing 'please' repeatedly at 1:15. So this song gave me Nu'est vibes more than vixx haha. Think it's cool! Can't wait to see the next song this group puts out, they have a great sound!
But there is nothing wrong with comparing, it is normal! Every new group will always be compared with older ones. And every new group probably has inspirations - if they had Vixx or Infinite or Beast or whatever as inspiration, IT IS OK! No one said it is straigh copy :)

This is my favourite debut song in years, from the first listen it reminded me of why I got into Kpop in the first place, for music like this. This is my favourite debut song in years, from the first listen it reminded me of why I got into Kpop in the first place, for music like this.
I hope they stay true themselves and don't try to "americanise" their sound like so many groups seem to be doing today. I think the reason most of us even got into Kpop was cos we were no longer connecting to western music and needed something new.
