If someone has assets worth $100 million and when he dies he can transfer only 45 percent to his children. 55 percent is grabbed by the government. This is an interesting law.

I think passing the inherentance partially to the children is good because - 1- Parents' hunger for wealth will get reduced, thereby avoiding the unwanted hoarding by the people and stopping corruption.
2- Remaing wealth going to govt will provide funds for development in the country.
3- The next generation will put positive efforts to grow rather than just passing life in abundance without any productive efforts towards country's development.
However, we must look to the idea with a positive attitude and tailor the policy to our country's conditions.
