George, I swear on my life that those Florida LE Front Loaders have just this sound to them that no other truck can replicate. The braking sound. Just the high pitched squeal in the first Perkins PAC clip. Gets me everytime.
i think that the trash collectors are very very good at what they do, because after all they should be treated with a lot of respect, , and they empty our trash go to the work at 230/3am every day and start cleaning the waste from our house dumpsters.. when i see them i say thank you..
My 2yo kid is completely obsessed with this video, loves it. This video is a public service to preschool boys around the world! My son refuses to wear any shirt other than his garbage can shirt I designed for him on cafe press.
@DaniKosherLife How many of you are 63 years old sitting here with Bose headphones on? and enjoying the sights and sounds. and a little bit still a kid at heart? :) "LIKE" for sure.
haha Three years old I am sitting with. He is the loud and hyper type that almost never settles down, but when I watch these videos with him he immediately quiets down and sometimes even fall asleep LOL
I just want to say THANK YOU for this and other videos like it. My 2 year old LOVES to watch them. My wife and I are learning more about garbage trucks than we ever imagined.
this is old,we had these trucks in miami since 2002.also this is not lazy,it's safer because dogs attack garbage men,and cars could hit garbage men or they could get robbed in bad neighborhoods.also this saves the city or county money, they hire 1 guy to do the job instead of 3
this was my childhood video! thanks so much for these, inspired a life long love for trucks! i used to make my whole family watch these, we probably racked up a good fraction of the views here hahahah. thanks again.👍🏻
Wow! This is spectacular... what was that, 6 different (and awesome) trucks in one video?! This calls for an instant 5 star rating and a fav. Here's a video you can be proud of George, I loved it! Were all these trucks within one county in different areas or through a few? Wouldn't mind living or holidaying in that area - guaranteed for some awesome footage. Those garbos on the 2RII at the end seemed very keen on being videoed, especially that last one rushing to the camera lol Great job mate!!!
I think that this is the greatest video on you tube its like baby crack for my 2 yr old as soon as i start playing this video he shuts up and sits for the whole thing its amazing
Nice collection! Guess how I found your vids? I looked up "gas" on Wikipedia, and one thing lead to another. Gas -> Skywriting -> exhaust manifold -> manifold -> Carburetor -> Exhaust system -> Waste collection vehicle (Wow, those are cool! Lets go to UA-cam and look them up!) LOL! You learn something new every day.
The most unusual contraption I've ever seen at 3.24, the only problem I see with this is as with most front lift truck at lot of rubbish doesn't make it into the hopper above and can be seen dropping onto the roadway and littering the streets. The idea of the driver being able to view the garbage bins being emptied is good but more work is need to reduce the rubbish from missing the hopper and making sure the rubbish is in the compactor.
DUDE. If I have to watch this and part 1 one more time, I don't know what I'm gonna do. The good news is at least I can get the dishes done while my 2 year old obsesses over this. What is it with boys and trucks?
Haha! That ending was hilarious with the two guys coming over to you. I've seen this video many times and this is the first time I've noticed that lol Looks like those guys have a great sense of humor.
not fair that some of the workers get to work with the automated trucks and the others have to get out of the truck and move the garbage can manually... cool video
All of those of you who are asking "What is the point of this", if you are two years old and obsessed with binmen and trucks (garbagemen), then this makes perfect sense and thrilling viewing!
The only ones who actually had to work was the last two guys on here. They physically lifted stuff into the back of the truck. Now that one at the beginning was insane. I never even knew trash trucks could pick up cans without the driver getting out of the cab..awesome.
@brinlo My son is 2 1/2 and loves it! He is describing the events over and over as I am typing. :) Without music or anything he is just glued! Thanks for sharing!
Arguably one of the most classic compilations. One of the first garbage truck videos I'd ever watched, very enjoyable!
Same here!
George, I swear on my life that those Florida LE Front Loaders have just this sound to them that no other truck can replicate. The braking sound. Just the high pitched squeal in the first Perkins PAC clip. Gets me everytime.

The Perkins will be tough, its used as a spare and is rarely ever brought out. The 7000 should be easy to find though.

Wow, great collection of trucks! 5* Awesome video!
It's fun to see how people live in other parts of the world. The garbage cans in Phoenix always land with their lids closed.

Wow! The Mack Atlantic are the trucks that come in my town in Illinois. Is there a reason why they use the same model?

The first guy, the driver, was asking what I would do with the video, the second was jokingly asking if we saw him. Great guys, lots of fun.

Recycle bins have yellow lids. Compost bin have bright green lids. Trash ones are army green - that's how it works here in Brissie.
Very first trash truck vid that got me into this in 2010!
