Wow so lucky to have those trails ! And also you trust a lot your ktm to go in those remote places. Coming from Suzuki, after 6 months of KTM I still can't trust it even if I didn't have serious issues, it just doesn't feel as reliable as a Japanese bike. But this 790 is just amazing !! Ride safe ;)
Thanks, yes, some very cool tracks down there in the desert, eh. I've got nearly 40,000km on mine now and it's been terrible - the back tyre seems to disappear in a cloud of smoke and I get bugs in my teeth from smiling while riding it :) Jump on and go - wring it's neck, it can take it! Japanese adventure bikes should come with coffee cup holders - they need it to keep you awake, the 790 certainly doesn't put you to sleep if you let it move how it likes to! Cheers
Now this is adventure riding... Not GSA1200/1250 friendly at all! Love it! Very Cool Chris!
No problems on the 1290 though👍
You got that right! Many types of adventures going on around the world - but this ranks highly in my books.
The big girl got around there fine.....but rather you than me mate, lol.

What's not to love especially when you can see the track way ahead of you.
Yes, it adds so much to the feel of the ride to see the track winding it's way out in the distance :)
Nice addition of the maps! I was going to say you should add them in so we can get a feel for where you are in this vast country.
Yeah, it can get a bit confusing since I have one of these a week coming out along with a local ride....glad you like it :)
If you want rocks try the Mt Samuel track in the Flinders, also one way
It lost me with the name Mt Buggery in there...lol. So many fun tracks in the Flinders to choose from :)
"Trackus cooluseum"... LOL!!!!!
I got on a roll after finding the name of the flower....at least I didn't go as far as Life of Brian fake roman names for my riding partners, lol
I thought I was “Biggest Dicketh”
