Thanks, appreciate the comment... there's an option when you export to the full circle, portrait or landscape on the phone... it doesn't change the resolution, so you're almost better exporting in full circle and then post cropping it in. IMHO.
Hey Jeff,... i think there's another video i released showcasing some footage and photos... they work well for what they are, but by no means is the quality "professional"...
They will not fit. Nicos come with a soft leather case and a usb charging cable. I miss the charging case for my v1 and v2s, but the size and quality of these w/ polarized lenses are 100x worth the case tradeoff. Hope that helps and thanks for the comment.
Do you think the video quality is that much better than V1 to justify the upgrade? I would totally agree the style, and the lenses are wayyyy better. I do wish they used a common charging cord. I had my case with me, the whole thing was dead but I didn't have the "special" cord. So even with a bag of all kinds of cords I was dead in the water (not actually in the water, V1's aren't waterproof)
I never had a chance to play with or use the V1 Specs, unfortunately. With that being said, I always let the quality of the video try to speak for itself... it SEEMS high-def... But only in the 115 degree radius. as soon as it's cropped it gets a little grainy... but for $200 you get wearable "HD" video/photo gear that isn't total crap.. Like i say in the video, my major issue with the V1 & v2 "originals" was the length of the arms and tightness of the product. they felt like they were manufacture for children and women... I don't have a huge head (i don't think) but those glasses BARELY fit me.. these are 100x better... and a little more stylish IMHO. For me, worth the upgrade.
I just bought the V2 Nico coming from the gen 1, the video quality is marginally better, the only things that truly justify the upgrade is water resistance, faster upload speeds to your phone, and a better-looking device. I bought Nico because I wasn't a huge fan of the Original V1 and V2 style (i hated the yellow rings so I bought a blackout kit). If you don't mind the design of the original, then don't bother shelling out the extra $50 for the new design. Just go with the regular V2
William Squilliam polarized lenses are a huge upgrade for everyday glasses wearers. I also agree, stylistically, they are 1000x less obnoxious than v1 and v2,.. they also feel like they are meant for an adult male... I always felt the originals were for people with little heads. The only thing that I'd hate about the glasses is the light when recording. I don't ever like people noticing that I'm taking snaps. Like .... what If I'm trying to talk shit about someone? Or trying to snap someone? Or bring the shades to a place where no phones or cameras are allowed? These glasses would be perfect for just that. Only thing is that you have that dumb ass light and people will notice and realize you're recording. LAME

Very good video. Looking to buy a pair. Will the Nicco’s fit in the v1 case? I liked having a case to carry the spectacles and charge in.
