    WOW! You are so knowledgeable and a great teacher! Thank you. My Bissell ready clean power brush is leaking solution without trigger being pulled. Tension seems fine on trigger. I am trying to diagnose the problem with your helpful videos.

    I have the revolution pet pro 2x heat. I watched your video on the handle to make sure that trigger piece was broke or not. It is not broke. I put it back together. My problem is I have tension one time but no water comes out to carpet.

    Yeah, my problem is iys coming out of the other pipe on the left for the accessory hose.
    There is a valve inside that was stuck open, fixed by poking it.

    Thank you for explaining this, mine was leaking from the priming zone where you push down with a pen to prime the hose spray, the seal wasn’t sitting correctly afterwards

    The main vacuum is working, but my problem is the upholstery attachment. Anytime I try to hold it vertical to get the back of couch it's leaks water all over the place. I can't tell where it's coming from. I just goes all over the place. It's clean water though.

      Try spraying without the tool. Checking to see where the problem originates. If it sprays with no leak then replace the upholstery tool

    so mine just pours water out with machine off nearly emptying the tank, trigger off, machine off. the valve that the trigger actuates is a bit confusing to me, it seems open all the time until you pull the trigger then the valve seems to close, I think the valve is faulty and have ordered a new one, on the new one the plunger of the valve seems to be a bit higher forcing it to close one and open the other water line (I assume) more efficient. we'll see when the new valve arrives. I hope it is the problem, there sure was a lot of disassembly to get that valve out.

    • @carlwilson8045
      @carlwilson8045 Рік тому +1

      so after looking at the valve a bit closer I have noticed that the plunger is broken off and the bottom piece is stuck all the way down there as if the trigger were pressed, so the new valve should do the trick.

    I have the Revolution pet pro heat 2x. There is a white reservoir/pump on the left side when looking at it. That is leaking clean water once the tank is attached. It looks like the seal on the bottom of the tank has fallen off. I cannot find the part name or number anywhere. Please help!

      Unfortunately that part is not being sold. I’ve never tried bypassing that part. But it’s something I would try before replacing the whole unit. You can also try searching for it on eBay (used) -

    Can you direct me to a video to fix please. My nozzle clip where upholster tool connects. Leaks upwards when I turn my machine on to use it for my carpets. It's almost like the hole needs a plug. So frustrating.

    Hi first I just want to say thank you so very much for all of your videos I went through and just saved all of them as I have had to do many troubleshooting videos for this carpet cleaner I love it it does amazing work when it actually works but I've had many issues thus far and the most recent is the clean tank is leaking which pertains to this video however I can only find one video on the internet and it's six seconds long on UA-cam and there's no explanation of it it's just showing the exact same thing that mine is doing which it is leaking through the silver part on the bottom of the clean tank all along the crack and I will like you said put it aside well I'm maybe picking things up along the way and it literally will be half gone by the time I look back and it makes me crazy because I'm not loaded and it costs so much money each container of cleaning fluid that I'm putting together in this clean tank and I've lost so much money because at least six of them have completely drained out without me using them please help it would be so greatly appreciated I think I seen on one of your videos that you were retiring these videos and you weren't going to do them anymore but I would just be so grateful if you could just let me know this one piece of information thank you so very much in advance for your time I greatly appreciate that I hope you have a blessed rest of your night and stay safe :-) XO

      Hi April sorry for the delayed response… plastic Shampooer tanks can leak either due to a loose or missing cap or through a micro crack and split in the seal. I’m making a video of possible but short term fixes. The best solution is to replace the tank but then we’re sinking even more money into it. Wish I could be of more help

    I'm having an issue where my bissell proheat revolution is constantly leaking clean water even without the trigger being depressed. The water is coming out of the nozzle it is supposed to come out of if I was to press the trigger (right by the brush roll). It acts as if the trigger is pressed, even though it isn't.
    The action on the trigger seems fine, and feels like its engaging the valve when I press it. I took the handle apart (like in your other video) and the handle/trigger appear in good condition.
    Any ideas?

      So actually update from a few hours later the same day I fixed the problem. Maybe this comment will help someone else. I used one of your other videos that showed you taking the bissell proheat revolution apart (thank you for that).
      I located the one valve in the system that controls the water coming out of the brush roll. The valve is in the upper portion of the shampooer, basically between the clean water tank and the dirty water tank. I removed the valve and at first it appeared to be working fine. But I quickly figured out once I stopped depressing the valve water continued to slowly seep through the valve. I just depressed the valve and blew through one end of it and this small piece of plastic shot out. A plastic shaving must have someone gotten into the valve and it was causing it to remain always open.
      Long story short I took a plastic shaving out of the valve and it stopped leaking.
      Thanks for the videos!

      Sounds like the overflow is a result or either a missing gasket on the hose. Or maybe check the port that the hose is plugged into. Make sure it’s clear if debri

    • @monroevac
      @monroevac  2 роки тому +1

      Ok, we would first have to figure out where the water is coming from- Is it clean water? does it pour out the bottom when you start spraying? or is it dirty and pour out when you start sucking up the water?

    okay so fixed this one, this part is really hard to source, I found a place that has it in stock now I presume, when I ordered it is was on back order, so if your Bissell is just pouring water out the bottom with out pulling the trigger or turning on the machine, then this is most likely the culprit. thought I could put a photo in here but I cannot, it is called Valve handle fluid release part number 1626491 or manufacturer part 63-0106-025-200 Only place I could find one after an exhausting search was Vacuums R-US & sewing too . They are out of Colorado. wish I could show you the picture, on my valve the plunger just broke and left the valve wide open.

    • @monroevac
      @monroevac  Рік тому

      Your description is good. I know what your talking about unfortunately its not a part found on the Bissell service site for me to order- possibly eBay or someone like that shop may sell a part from an unit that is not running. if you can get it from Colorado, then I suggest that you go that route. If not, then try finding someone who is selling a used unit for parts.
