Well, Palki it's a bit concerning what kind of relationship Yunus is seeking with US. If it's mostly economic then that's fine. But if it’s anything more then it's bit concerning because US doesn't care about friendships much. but I think they will give more space than India.
As for the election… US isn't talking about it, and Yunus isn’t talking about it, simply because people don’t want elections right now. People want to see reforms and the implementation of those reforms. It will take time but Yunus has made it clear that he has zero interest in politics. As soon as his job is done he will step down from power.
And about friendship with India? don’t you see Indian MPs making threatening comments these days? How can we expect to have a good relationship in that way? Recently Bangladesh is trying hard to revive SAARC. We all know that Pakistan is most problematic member. So we need to deal with Pakistan first to revive SAARC, which will benefit all of us and help reduce some level of tensions between India and Pakistan. We are not narrow-minded like paj**ts. We will seek friendship with India if they approach us in a friendly manner. We don’t have problem with Indian people, we have problem with Modi, the Godi media, and paj**ts.
