Just made these. The beer batter is on point. Just absolutely awesome. According to my family it's better than California Street food truck fish taco. Batter is flavorful, light and crispy. I fried fish and shrimp. The crema sauce is excellent. I used 2 Chipotle in adobo sauce since that's all I had. Served this with Pico de Gallo and it was the bomb. Highly recommend this recipe. This will be on a regular rotation at my house.
@@marleneq2147 it really depends on the size of your shrimp but for a regular size you get at your fish department at the supermarket I'd say about 3 to 5 min max. Hope that helps. Don't want it overcooked .

This recipe was a HUGE hit for the fam! The only thing I did different was a little trick I learned from tempura shrimp, which allowed them to lay flat rather than all curled up. I cut a couple of little slits on the bottom of the shrimp, and then gently tugged on either end to pull it straight. Kinda fits the tortilla a little better imho. Absolutely deeelish! Thank you!
