It's a long story but shortly, him and the other 2 members of TVXQ sued SM because of the unfair contrat terms in 2009. Then, they left SM and formed JYJ under a new company. But since then, SM blacklisted them and blocked them from all the music shows and variety shows. They basicly blacklisted them from TV except for dramas. (Not only TV, they blacklisted them in many areas but i'll not talk about them here since it'll be too long.) It's been 14 years. Him and his group mate Junsu started to be on tv again little by little in the last 2 years but it still hard for them to participate weekly music shows like music bank or popular variety shows like KB, RM ect.
He founded his own company last year and he is doing great. He is producing a new idol group now. That's why he asked to the boys to introduce him their friends who wants to be idols 30:08.

He will be great to lead a new group because he is wonderful and talented but I also hope he gets to fulfill his dreams performing on shows for his old and new fans. His dedication is very inspiring, so thanks for the context it must have taken long to type it. ❤

These are not even the half of the crimes SM and the industry done to him and JYJ. Running a smear campaign aginst them, not allowing them to get their awards, not inviting them to the award ceremonies, cencoring their faces on TV shows, canceling their concerts, trying to block them releasing albums, ect... They couldn't even find songwriters who will give them songs for their first album. That's why, most of the songs of their 1st Korean album written by the members themself.
Anyway, despite all of this, Jaejoong and Junsu succeded. Success came to them thanks to their hardwork and talent. Surviving in this industry under these circumtances for about 15 years is not something anyone can do. They are running companies and Jaejoong is producing idol groups now. We couldn't even dream about it back then.

Them not hesitating on giving Jaejoong their numbers made me laugh. As a Cassiopeia, it warms my heart seeing Jaejoong interact with younger idols and becoming more of a hyung rather than a sunbae. Jaejoong's face when Jaehyun said he was born in 2003 is so funny. I could almost see him thinking "crap, I'm getting old" (not to be mean, but knowing him, he probably thought it. Plus I felt old hearing him say that and I'm 26, which is 12 years younger than Jaejoong)

I love the staff's comment "my heart is beating so fast" when the boys told their real phone numbers! This was so funny. I'm not at BND stan but I love the little bits that I see of them! They seem like really sweet, absolutely chaotic boys lol. Also, I just want to pick Jaehyun up and put him in my pocket. How is it possible for someone to be so adorable?!
