I'm waiting on a new 23 Hobie passport 10.5R to come in. I had an outback but it was too heavy. I'm a minimalist so only carry a stake out pole and maybe 2 rods, usually just 1. I've been wanting to fish the state park for a while. Where are some good launch points? Or just paddle around and look for fish? Are the jetties producing yet? How do you get in before they open the gates?
Old towns big water pdl, cant recommend them enough! Built like a tank and handles everything from inshore marshes to punching through surf and offshore swells.
Nice, thanks for having us along!
