In the video, the character is at a facility that allows you to relive your memories. Every time something bad was happening, the machines were showing errors on the screen. I think he was trying to relive the good parts of his life and the device being used malfunctioned and was mixing in the bad as well. Their song Limits is one of my favs.
I feel like too much emphasis is placed on categorizing bands and music. Is it metal? Is it new metal? Is it alt metal? Is it not metal at all? Who really cares?! Do you enjoy listening to it? Is it a good song? Is it art? Those are the questions that matter.
Hope you guys react to more bad omens limits and like a villain and concrete jungle. Also more falling in reverse too. Chemical prisoner, it's over when it's over, raised by wolves, champion, alone, rolling stone, zombified, voices in my head, watch the world burn and last resort reimagined
This is considered a metal ballad
Bad Omens I would say are Metalcore (my second fave band lol). Noah’s vocal range (like Vessel from Sleep Token, Chris Motionless from Motionless In White and Ronnie Radke from Falling in Reverse) is amazing. Earphones wise, I just used Beats Flex which are fine for general use and then save for better ones for future but you’re right for Metal/core etc etc you need ear/headphones 🖤
Bad Omens songs - if you want heavier ones try Dethrone and Artificial Suicide, but other general really good ones to try are Glass Houses, Concrete Jungle, Nowhere to Go, The Death of Peace of Mind, Like A Villain, Bad Decisions, The Grey, sod it the whole Death of Peace of Mind album 🖤
Take him a journey to jinger pieces live sessions I promise you both will be surprised on the band

I believe the band’s vocalist mentioned that all of the videos for this album cycle are connected somehow, and tied in to this new comic/graphic novel they’re releasing. So watching the other videos might help there.
And if your bud is looking for something more metal I’d recommend Artificial Suicide from their current release and Dethrone from the prior (look for the live version though, it’s better). Also Limits is a straight banger and I think you’d both love it.

As for headphones, I have Skullcandy evo crushers….nice sound, great battery life, and not insanely expensive.
This song is definitely not metal. It's post-hardcore/alternative rock.
This song is alt-metal, my guy. I get what you're saying though. It has more of a radio friendly feel to it
@@JayVee147 I know that's what it says on Wikipedia, but it sounds a lot more like post-hardcore and alternative rock to me. The album definitely has a lot of alternative metal elements in it, but not so much in this one. Breaking Benjamin and RED are good examples of alternative metal.
I get what you're saying lol. Breaking Benjamin gives me more of a alt-rock feel, but they do have a lot of songs that feel alt-metal as well. Gotta love Breaking Benjamin, though!🤘🏻

Some of their best songs from The Death of Peace of Mind are Nowhere To Go, The Grey, CONCRETE JUNGLE, ARTIFICIAL SUICIDE, The Death of Peace of Mind, and from their older record (Finding God Before God FInds Me), Kingdom of Cards, Running In Cirlcles, Careful What You Wish For, Dethrone, Mercy, or Limits. Any of these would be great to see!
