As a local musician, I would love to see a feature length interview with Steve (Solid Entertainments), about his time promoting at the Winter Gardens. The day they pulled this building down, I was heartbroken. So much musical history lost, and for nothing.
If you haven't been to the Bag's Ball, you haven't lived. I once played a Wednesday night as part of "Venus Freak", a local early 2000s covers band. Fun times. I met my wife at that gig.
Nice
And with misspelled thumbnail or is Cleethore's a local thing?
Folk's not my kind of music but they sounded good. We need young people in Gy and meggies to create a community to take the towns forward.
😅
But when do you talk about Venus?
