Agreed but there's still a reason why he would reject the ascencion but choose to become the Absolute. The real power, without the need to bond himself to hells. He can even be delulu - he saved 7000 souls from hell, surely he's going to be a benevolent leader. Granted, it's still about as believable as playing a benevolent vampire lord in his origin playthrough but the option is here 🤷

Yes I know Astarion has never really been a good person but he can become one, he is a sexual and abuse victim, he becomes the very thing that he hates, why repeat the cycle of abuse? When he can break it, spawn Astarion is meant for a redemption story, you ascended fans already have a Astarion! Let us spawn also have a Astarion you are being extremely selfish otherwise
@@JessicaJohnson-vp9mt I am a spawn fan. I said I agree that it doesn't suit him to do this but you can headcanon his reasons. Of course this ending is meant for AA.
@@svoba4af well all should have the Astarion we want! The AAs got thiers and we got ours and I want the Astarion who actually do love you and is a partner to you, I wish tho that he could be a true vampire and still have his personality as a spawn

Are you under the impression this ending cancels out his redemption arc somehow? Or that this is the only ending you can get during his origin run? All the cycle of abuse and redemption arc story stuff is still there, right where it should be, for any one who wants to roleplay that. This ending does not change that. There is only one Astarion and all Astarion fans (A!A fans, Spawn fans, and those who love both) are all included in that.
@@OonalovesAstarionssimpleplan i wont shame anyone who likes the ascended version each thier own, but spawn astarion should remain sweet and funny, spawn Astarion shouldnt even have a evil ending in my opinion it doesnt make sense, like why leave him as a spawn to eventually let him become evil anyways then its No point in having a spawn astarion at all

If you are going to give Astarion the evil ending afterall then you should just ascend him, him remaining as a spawn is meant to be his redemption

THIS IS SO GOOD. I always wondered what the origin character's endings would be compared to the player character and they are 10x better
