Cats have the fastest reaction time of all animals at between 0 - 70 milliseconds. That's 0 - 0.07 seconds. To put this into perspective, blinking your eye takes about 0.1 seconds. So the time it takes you to just close your eyes is typically longer (in some cases much longer) than the time it takes for a cat to react to a threat. In contrast, the average human reaction time is about 500 milliseconds (0.5 seconds). Only the fastest people can reach an average of about 200 milliseconds. Considering this, not only are the average cat reflexes 10-15 times faster than humans, but the fastest cats can have an almost zero reaction time, virtually
I moreless agree but with that 0-70 miliseconds you overexaggerated... its more like 20-70 miliseconds or so... having 0 miliseconds reaction time is physically impossible for every living thing without exceptions

The manx kitty saw a big horsefly on the ceiling. He watched it move around a bit, then out of the blue that manx kitty leaped straight up, caught the horsefly in his paws, landed holding it a little while, then let it go. The horsefly returned to the ceiling and this manx kitty did that several times in a row, playing with that horsefly....and the ceiling was 8 feet high!!! Cats are unbelievable sometimes with the things they can do!❤
The bird was Crows not hawk. I watched the full video years ago. Fellow crows launched many unsuccessful attacks to rescue their mates but it was too late cause another cat got involved too. Cat took his snacks and ran away
I still can't figure why I'm just now learning - well, in the last year - that the domestic cat is quite amazing. I thought the snake's chief nemesis was the mongoose. The domestic cat may not be as venom-resistant as a mongoose, but from videos I've seen, unless a snake surprises a cat from behind, the reptile comes up empty.
They put snakes to shame. Love cats. Always have. You treat a cat right then you know loyalty. Not like dogs. Dogs are the most loyal. But for quality loyalty cats can be very territorial over you. Love with no end. If you treat them right. It’s so much more earned than with a dog. But you see the abilities and brain. Such a great species and right down to domestics apex predators.
Exactly. Growing up with dogs, I thought they are clingy. Until we adopted kitties, and wow, the loyalty. I mean, my cats wait for me right outside the gate. Unlike our dogs, well, they're sleeping somewhere. 😂 Not only that, they like to meow-scold me when I arrive late.
I don't agree. If someone else feeds your cat then they'll go to them . Theyre nowhere near as loyal as a dog. And cats in general can't be trained like a dog can to come back. My neighbour has lost 3 cats due to this. And my sister has lost 2. Theyve manage to get them back but every single one of them have disappeared again. My neighbour is having the same problem with the cat she has just now cause he's the friendliest cat ever. Hes got identity issues. I'm sure he thinks he's a dog. He's the ONLY cat my old amstaff didn't want to tare to bits. They actually sat together.

If that doesn't sound very good to you it's because it shouldn't. Cats are awful, and so is your silly opinion 😅😅
I watched my grey tabby Vincent all day and I'm amazed. The quick paw strike movement are just like the great cats.
Cats I love every since childhood ......
House Fly be like : OUR BATTLE WILL BE LEGENDARY. 🔥🔥🔥
Cat: *slap*
Fly: Okay. I wasn't ready that time.
Cat: Ready.
Fly: Haiya!
Cat: *slap*
Every family should have a cat in their family. Two is even better. They are interesting entertaining and attractive. Loyal ❤❤❤❤
Love my cats
Yes they are fun and make fantastic pets but they kill sooo many native species. Humans have bred them & spread them around the planet . Here in Australia they are not native . We have many small marsupial ( mini kangaroo like ) species which are endangered partly because of cats
Yep, except for all that friging cat hair everywhere, it's pretty unsanitary.....
Former village boy here. In village (I think around the world) it's "mandatory" to employ dog(s) as guardians and cat(s) as vermin deterrence.
And keep them indoors. Bye bye to all your native critters outside
The cat slapped the snake down like d bo slapped Nia long on Friday 😂🎉
I love cats, they are nice company and are beautiful.♥️♥️
Yes, they are so beautiful
I have always loved cats! I moved to Puerto Rico 7 years ago from Massachusetts and was heartbroken by the amount of stray animals here! So I am now an unofficial cat rescue( and chicken, dogs, lizards etc) The things that some of these cats have been through, abuse, abandoned, injuries, illness is enough to make a grown own man cry! My hubby can attest to that. But all they have been through they give so much love, loyalty, affection and appreciation not only to me but the new cats we take in❤ Cats are so badass♥️♥️♥️ And I'm grateful I have been lucky to be the human they choose to help them and love them!!!!
Thank you.
Thank you so very much! You certainly deserve all the affection they give you! This world needs more people like you my friend.
Thank you for taking care of all animals. You should be able to work with a shelter there or inquire online about ways to start a pet sanctuary.

Yes sir you are right.cat is very intelligently sir.mind blowing sir this video right....
Years ago I was at a friend's house sitting at his kitchen table sipping a beer with him when I saw the craziest thing.
He had a small gray manx cat that was lying flat on his tummy. Cats are unbelievable sometimes with the things they can do!❤
worlds most energetic and cutee cats 😊🎉❤
बिल्ली हद से ज्यादा फुर्तीली है
😂😂😊😅😅
The hawk was going for lunch only to be lunch.
I think it was a pigeon
That hawk was a pigeon
No. There was no hawk. Only a pigeon 🐦
The bird was Crows not hawk. I watched the full video years ago. Fellow crows launched many unsuccessful attacks to rescue their mates but it was too late cause another cat got involved too. Cat took his snacks and ran away
Hawks don’t get caught by cats buddy 😂🤣🤣, that’s not how hawks work
SubhanAllah ❤ Allahu Ekber ❤ ma shaa Allah ❤

It's really annoying that most people don't know the difference between "to" and "too"

Texting within the same household.
One of the cute animals in existence yet it compared to all other animals the ultimate killing machine
A domestic cat is one of the most interesting and funny animals to observe.
Life without cats....would be a MISTAKE!!
Very nice video 😮👍😨
Cats are awesome but I also think Cheetahs awesome Simply because of their sheer speed
If youve not seen a slomo of a Cheetah V a greyhound, check it out. You can really appreciate what an incredible runner the Cheetah is.
Cats are awesome.
And lovely.
I have 18 at home.
All rescued or born at home from rescued moms
Great heart Allah bless you my friend ❤
Thank you ❤
Omg I bet your house smells like piss and shit.
This is why I get nervous whenever Dozer has a staredown with the neighbour's 🐈!
Makes one wonder if domestic cats or mongoose have a faster reaction time.
I’ve found our cat in the basement with a dead copperhead.
If someone else feeds your cat then they'll go to them
I must admit this is the best car video showing their reflexes ❤
Cats are amazing
Great information and educational content
That' why I have huge Respect for Cats 😂😂😂
