Chen Meng has always been a powerful forehand player. Her forehand scores many points. She used to step to her left to execute her killer forehand just as what a younger Ma Long did. Not many female players have that killer shot or option.
Sun yingsha's top spin is ridiculously powerful but she's definitely not as quick as Chen meng especially during her prime. Chen meng's inside out forehand to the far right of opponents space is also extremely deadly. This skill is not something I've consistently seen in any other players, not even sun.
In Japanese as with the Chinese it is prefer to have the family name first then the given name. Just like Chen Meng it is prefer to have Hirano Miu instead of the other way round.
Disappointing. Still no evidence Miu or her coaches have recognised the specific way Bernadette Szocs managed to beat CM twice without having to force it or play too many lengthy rallies. General line down the middle of the table, but force her to frequently switch wings. Either way. I reckon she's got the fast backhand counter hit to do it. At least try it. Instead I just saw the same old tactics that have failed Miu since that one victory...7 years ago. Made it easy for CM. Made her look like the Hurricane, playing fast blocks where she didn't even have to move her bat. Or defensive top spins where she had the chance to swing her arms. No wonder Miu looked depressed; this match has probably cost her an Olympics singles spot over Miwa Harimoto. Edit: should have cost her an Olympics singles spot, but apparently hasn't.
It was based on a series of international and domestic competitions where points are rewarded. The top 2 players will gain the 2 singles spot. While the 3rd player for the team event will be chosen by the selection committee. Ito came in 3rd and decided to opt out of the Olympic team selection.
For someone who has never played Table Tennis, this camera angle is very good as I get to understand the game better. It's exciting to watch.

Actually I think Chen’s backhand is more impressive, her forehand is not as good as plays like Sun Yingsha

Chen Meng vs Hirana Miu → Chen Meng vs Hiran「o」 Miu
🎉🔥🔥🔥🥳
Miu is completely outplayed by Chen Meng. Well I hope Chen can win another World Cup title this time, though chance is thin
@ITTFWorld Title ERROR, the name is Miu HIRANO with a O in the end

@@jliang70Yeah!! I always change the order in my mind 😅 but the HIRANO stands like HIRANA yet 😕

The Olympic spot is confirmed. Hina Hayata and Miu Hirano got the single while Miwa Harimoto plays in the team event.
@@chiensg Great. The JTTA really has no concept of current form.
Actually, not fair. At least they've now recognised Ito Mima's decline.

@@chiensg Well, doesn't look as if it's worked out for them. Again. I remember what happened to Kasumi last time.
3:03 looks like Chen is using FZD ALC blade now
yes
ITTF, почему не сохраняете полные записи трансляции?! Позор!
