After playing this game for over 2 years I feel fairly certain that the game is rigged (biased, if you prefer) to keep you from reaching the Champion Division too soon. Your thoughts?
I think the record for reaching Champion level is something like 30 rounds. It has a LOT to do with (a) when you play, both time of day and early/late in the season, (b) the luck of the draw on your card mates (how many, what level they are), and (c) where you start (once you finish in the Champion division, you start the following season higher to lessen the chances of newer players running into veteran/more skilled players).
Wins PT, rating drops by 4.🤦♂️
Great win bud!
It was still inflated from the “ratings on steroids” period years ago
@ that makes sense. I’m 940 having not played back then, and am consistently 6-10 strokes behind the leaders each week.
Can you confirm the following?
Pro tour rating is determined by averaging the last FOUR *completed* pro tours one does?
4 rounds is the stated minimum, but I’m pretty sure it averages the last 12 PT rounds if there are 12 completed ones.
